| Aye, seconding the interest in how you've got on with Amazon, Rum - saw you tweeting about it, so I'm interested to hear the resolution to that tale. |

| I got in touch with Amazon, and got two emails in response (and having had a brief stint in the role of customer service for Amazon many years ago, I have seen their copy and paste responses before...): the first basically said apologies that has happened, we can send replacements but it would be hassle if you do end up getting the original delivery because you'd have to send one back; then a second said "we know where the delivery is, it's with your neighbour at this address!". I refrained from emailing back to the second person asking "did you even read my initial correspondence you wang?!" in the hopes that maybe the neighbour would get in touch. They appeared about 20 minutes ago, a good 56 hours after the parcel was delivered. Because the courier went to the building next door. And then only gave me the flat number. So it could realistically have been that flat number from any of the buildings on my street. As a bonus, the neighbour also opened the parcel, supposedly not realising it wasn't addressed to them. But that's by the by, as the contents are totally intact.
So I finally have 3 new Switch games after a lovely splurge: Captain Toad, Mario + Rabbids, and Sonic Mania Plus.
Also maybe you'll get a picture of me with a beard soon. Who knows! I've had one since, ooh, 2016 though? About 2 and a half years. |

| That long, eh? Blimey, GNamer's been going for a fair old time hasn't it!? Feel we ought to have done some Happy Fifth Birthday stuff. Oh well. It's annoying, but all's well that end's well at least. I've heard good things about all of those games: enjoy! |

I know that this is now a non-factor considering you've got the original delivery, but if this had to be the road you travelled, how would Amazon realistically be able to prove you'd received both deliveries? Surely they'd have to chalk up the original delivery as a lost order and send you a replacement? Or would they just charge you for another order? |

| I can offer you some insider knowledge! Well, it was true circa 2013. Essentially they can't prove that you did or did not receive it, so they'll send a replacement one for you. But they typically have a look at your past orders before doing so, and if you have a history of saying you didn't get it, they'll cotton on. I can't remember if they just stopping sending replacements because they have reason to believe you're a bullshitter or if your account gets deactivated, but I think it's one or the other. |

| Was going to wait till she was out to share this news everywhere but happy to share it here ahead of social media. Meet Lyla Rose Murphy, she was born on Monday and had to head to the NICU since birth after some difficulty with her breathing. She's progressing more and more everyday however so with any luck she can come home by the week's end. Absolutely chuffed with her. Sent from Topic'it App |

Ah now that's an honour. Well procreated Smurfy! Although she looks dead irritated with you taking a picture of her. Glad she's recovering - hopefully she can get on with taking your breath away instead. |

| Thanks guys.
I was lucky to get pictures of her looking at me, it's even more difficult to capture her not looking grumpy so she'll have to put up with loads more pictures.

| Well I was gonna start mentioning my secret project but I'll leave that for now I guess.
She's home now as of this past Monday anyway for those that didn't see elsewhere, so far so easy, I get to play games whilst she sleeps.
