| I've just got a Pro Control and I've just taken it for a spin with the motion controls on. Now I get it, I couldn't ever make peace using the joy con grip (and I can't happily play hand seperated), but it just seems to work with the Pro |

| Nice! Now that you mention the whole hand separate joycons I want to give that a go as I believe the motion is mapped to the right joycon so it's turns it into a bit of a wii remote pointer. |

This is what I use and it works great, I find it a lot easier and more comfortable than using motion controls with them on the joycon grip |

| I do remember loving games on Wii remote and nunchuk, lounging on the sofa with one hand behind my head. Maybe I should give it a go, but I like to be in the absolute ZONE with splatoon, so no lounging for this squid. |

| Bit digressiony this, but - as they've introduced more species into the mix, the designs for the human-ish-isation (I've forgotten the word) are becoming really clever. Every time, I cannot get over the design of Flow: Sea slug? But that's one of the greatest character designs I've ever seen, I reckon. |

| What is flow actually meant to be? Is she a jellyfish? I really don't know. My favourite thing continues to be the names, Murch the black market sea urchin, Craymond who I assume is Flow's pet and my personal favourite: Bisk, like the soup. I've noticed tat the splatnet messages that appear in inkopolis plaza usually have a different topic each week, last week or maybe the week before it was furries, and this week it's lots of messages about LGBT, people coming out and saying how cool and fresh it is. It's great, there doesn't seem to be a single homophobic person on Splatoon 2, and everyone is a furry. |

| That said, last night I saw way more "why are there so many LGBT posts" or "can't we just play the game" posts than people actually making the posts. People are weird. |

| Ohh a sea slug.* I would like to draw attention to the biggest problem currently on Spla2n, every single game I've played for a while now has featured at least one Aerospray MG on each team. I get that it's a good weapon, but it's not that good It's range is bad and the curling bomb launcher is the least useful of all the launchers. I would like to see more variety- some people do take different exciting weapons - but this thing is always present. I've been using the splat brella recently and it's a lot of fun, throwing my shield out to protect allies and making it rain on people are each incredibly satisfying. What weapons is the rest of Gnamer going into battle with?
*At two weeks, I guess you could say this is a sluggish reply hahahahaha! |

| I've not played in a good few weeks (the games low tickrate still bugs me) but I've been liking the tri-slosher as it not only has high damage it's great for getting up walls quickly or catching people out who think they're in cover. They could fix that weapon variety issue a bit if they just allowed you to change weapons while you wait in a lobby, they already do this squad matches so it's odd it isn't there for the regular ones. |

| In defense of the AeroSpray: particularly in Turf War*, it's a good weapon for covering the ground, rather than perhaps one for shooting the bads. It's quite quick at filling a space up, but without losing the mobility like you would with a roller.
*This is an assumption - I've not played the others |

*This is an assumption - I've not played the others You are indeed correct, I do enjoy the weapon myself & in the first game I'd always swap to it for Splatfests for that reason. |

I've been having a lot of fun with the Splat Dualies combined with the Ninja Squid ability, it's funny how many people just stand still and spray where you were when you hide in the ink, makes it so easy to just get behind them with Ninja Squid It's great for hiding in the trail of curling bombs too or for escaping situations you normally wouldn't be able to escape from. Also Stealth Jump is a great ability, I've been getting splatted a lot less after super jumps since I started using it |

| I honestly wouldn't want them to open up the entire game so I could play any mode at any time BUT I do think they should give players a bit more freedom in other places mainly in how you are allowed to play the game with friends, you should be allowed to squad squid up in regular battles not just ranked or Salmon run. (when it's available) |

You think you know what you want. But we know what you will want once you understand it. There has to be some effort from the player to play ball with the developer, just like in a restaurant where there is a course menu. I don't agree with this in the least. To play along with his restaurant analogy, if a restaurant advertised a certain dish as being available, I'd expect to be able to walk into that restaurant and order that dish. If I was told by the staff "oh, we're sorry, that dish is only available between 2 and 4" then do you know what would happen? I'd go to another restaurant instead. Or, coming out of the analogy now, I'd play another game. |

I've been playing it now and then this whole time, as I find it to be a perfect game for the neutral times of my existence. That said, since they've added the video recording I've had a few longer sessions gathering up clips in the hopes of using them to do a little bit of video in the near future. - I noticed on the app after finishing up that two of the new maps that I haven't played yet (Manta maria & snapper canal) are in the rotation tomorrow afternoon.
They're both good, but Manta Maria is a favourite of mine to play on as it feels pretty unique to fight on a boat. |

| That's good to hear - I'm thinking I might just play one of the 2 hour slots every day that way I can stick to maps I know I enjoy, also planning to work on my football gear so it has the abilities that I like as well and that'll take time as I have to level up other stuff so I can then get the chunks from them. |

| Double post So apparently Wednesday morning is when all the pro Splatoon 2 players play, it was either more than 5 players at the max level cap in a lobby or folk clearly in a squad as they had clan names. Sometimes even both so I had way more bad games than fun ones. I did get to try out Manta maria & snapper canal though & they are pretty fun maps. |

| Now I'm only going off in game names but most seemed like they'd be from the EU or US (even though it'd be even earlier for them) as I saw zero Japanese names when playing, I think I just got unlucky and kept running into groups of folk clearly playing turf war together. Even though the game mixes the teams up the majority in the match had clearly played the game way more than me with most even having gear they clearly worked on for specific skills, it honestly felt like I was playing the ranked mode half the time.
-----
EDIT: Oh also I forgot how time flies when playing this game I was on for 2 & a half hours this morning but it felt like I had barely played somehow. |
