Pokémon X and Y (and Another Pokémon Poll)

I did go through a phase of using the names of villains from various media for my Pokémon. Ah, adolescence...

Can't say I nickname my Pokemon myself, I'll probably nickname my Fennekin Starfire out of nostalgia however as I call all my fire starters that. I've used the name since I collected my first Pokemon Cyndaquil back in Gold and I'll continue using it, same reason I still name myself Ace in Pokemon sometimes.

I was a highly unoriginal youth. My Squirtle in Blue was named "Turtleman".

I remember buying a secondhand Red just to trade Pokémon over to my Blue, then trading it back in. But first I caught loads of Rattatas and called them things like 'fuck' and 'titties'. I thought it was so, so funny at the time.

The best Pokemon names are ones like "Oh shit", "Aw hell no" and my personal favourite "Fuck, I". Because it results in things like this.

"Fuck, I is evolving. And apparently a stereotypical black man."

All this talk of nicknaming Pokemon after naughty words is making me fell like I missed out on something now they've got censors in the game now (or from what I've heard they do anyway).

Mystery Trade or something like that. And I only just realized this but I've been awake far too long. I blame Vampire Diaries and then hopping online when I should be going to bed.

Surely that's something you want to know though you might want to change from X to Y or the other way around as you prefer a certain mega evolution.

No, it really isn't.  I'm trying to go into the games as completely spoiler-free as possible.  The only version exclusives I know are the legendaries.  

I'll update the OP if you like, but please, spoiler tags.  It's not long now.  (And I'd assumed that all posts will be at least skimmed, especially if you're a regular, out of politeness if for no other reason.  Just me?)

Yeah, if I had even the slightest anti spoiler willpower that would have annoyed me. As it is I've been checking all the news stories.
I haven't looked at the full on leaks though. Has anyone done that?

I've done reasonably well, but every time I want to go into ONM to read their other news I have to half-close my eyes.
