| I'll have a go at this finishers lark. Best:
- Always loved the RKO, can be so unexpected at times, the only time I don't like it is when he does it from the top rope because then it's preidctable, although the one on RVD off the ladder was pretty ace.
- Cessaro's signatures are brilliant, in particular the uppercut, looks incredibly painful.
- Crossrhodes as mentioned is very inventive and looks flashy as he's doing it.
- An unexpected shoutout for Darren Young's finisher where he drops them on to his knees, sort of an extension of the codebreaker/backstabber (two moves I love too).
- Trouble in Paradise is fun to watch as are most of Kofi's moves.
Worst:
- The skull crushing finale and the figure 4 leg lock as done by Miz (although never really been a big fan of it).
- The 619, the set up is just too obvious, also dislike Vintage Orton as it should definitely always be known.
- The killswitch is incredibly boring to watch.
- Fandango, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt all seem to do a similar looking finisher if I remember correctly, Ambrose and Wyatt sell it well but Fandango's version isn't great.

Very nice, it's already sold as far as I and many others are concerned. Can't remember the last time I was 100% in to the top two matches (Cena/Bryan, Punk/Lesnar) on a WWE pay-per-view. The undercard is coming together neatly. Shame people can't give enough of a shit about Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes' face runs to get excited about their upcoming PPV matches (Then again, why should we like Cody Rhodes? He's pretty much a sore loser, a thief and a vandal. No wonder nobody wants to cheer for him!) - JayMoyles wrote:

Wouldn't know. I know they've had problems with paying people on time, and they've alienated some people by bringing in Tito Ortiz, is the on-screen product suffering too? |

| TNA is a mess at the moment. Amongst other things, some of the talent is apparently behind on payment; the Aces & Eights are just going round in circles by doing the same beatdowns that got boring nine months ago; their best talent (Kurt Angle) has just entered rehab; they're cutting costs by releasing undercard talent then immediately injecting those spare funds on irrelevant MMA crossover guys; the new Gut Check talent is of a worefully low standard; and they've out the title on a guy who was a midcarder for ten years without building him up. |

| That Cena/Bryan promo from last night's RAW has me so hyped for their match on Sunday. Best mic work we've seen from Cena in a long time, and Bryan was brutal on the mic too. Great stuff. |

| Aye it really was then it was somewhat ruined by the HHH & Orton interruptions, speaking of HHH I hate how he's just forced his way into being special guest ref when the match never needed it.
It just screams of being a spot light hog, I think its a way for them to claim it was them that created the popularity of Daniel Bryan. |

| Yeah, I agree with that. Orton's was basically him going "HEY GUYS I'M STILL HERE I'LL PROBABLY CASH IN LOL" and HHH's was just him being egotistical as usual. He did it with CM Punk back in 2011, and he's doing it with Daniel Bryan now. |

| Name me one person who'd have wanted an extra stipulation added to the WWE Championship match. It should be focused completely on John Cena Vs. Daniel Bryan as a contest to find the better man, not on Triple H, Vince McMahon, Brad Maddox, Randy Orton and all that bollocks.
Should still be decent, but all these extras have more or less guaranteed some sort of unsatisfying conclusion. |

| This is why I can't stand Triple H. Not only is he a vastly overrated wrestler who is held in high regard because he married in to the McMahon family, but he also can't let anyone else take the spotlight. He's doing the same thing he did when CM Punk was red-hot in 2011, he's sticking himself in there to try and soak up some of the buzz, and to take centre stage ... AGAIN! He has orchestrated some really good behind the scenes changes, he's bringing in some good people, and he's giving wrestlers a great chance to be very successful in the future. But what kind of future is it, if when you get to a certain point, out comes Triple H to take it away from you, because nobody is allowed to be a bigger star than him? I guarantee he'll do this again, when what he should be doing is stepping aside and letting someone else have a go. I, like a lot of others, are hoping we're not talking about him or Vince after SummerSlam, we should be talking about whoever walks out as WWE Champion, which should be Daniel Bryan.

| My worst nightmare for the SummerSlam main event now is Daniel Bryan to win only for Trips to pedigree him and Orton to cash-in. Totally takes away the heat from this Cena/Bryan feud. This should be, and was positioned to be, a feud that could easily go a few months. That promo was stellar until Trips showed his face.
Totally agree with what's been said above. |

| I wouldn't agree that Triple H is a vastly overrated wrestler, as Dusty called him. Yes, he's been involved in some downright tedious bouts and feuds against the likes of Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, and he buried such superlative talents ('threats') as Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and Booker T - guys who could have ascended to the top of the card and in turn muscled in on Triple H's bumper pay-offs. Let's not forget those outstandingly shite WrestleMania main events against Chris Jericho and Randy Orton either. And the DX reformation. And the racism angle with Booker T. And the Elimination Chamber 2003. And the...
On the flip side, I can't fault his ring work; he rarely does anything wrong, with excellent timing and positioning. He's had top, top class feuds with The Undertaker, Batista (arguably the greatest in WWE since the turn of the millennium), Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Sheamus and a host of others, and at the highest level as both a good guy and a rule breaker.
Selfish politics, but I consider him to be one of the greatest all-rounders I've ever seen. Never the greatest, but I think he pulled his weight. He was more than just a passenger, in there with the true greats.
I'm not interested in this current McMahon rivalry though. It's been done. Time for something fresh. Time for someone fresh.

I don't think that will happen. Remember, Triple H is on Daniel Bryan's side, and they're going to keep the tension going between him and Vince going until WrestleMania (where there'll apparently be a match revolving around the two for complete power of the company). I have a hunch, given that John Cena has an elbow injury that may require him to take time off after the PPV, that the time allocated to this match will be split between Bryan VS Cena, and then Bryan VS Orton (after a cash-in). Would be a poor pay-off given the amount of hype around that match, but if Cena can't wrestle a full match, that above situation could play out. |

| Not really newsworthy, but Darren Young just came out as gay to TMZ:
http://www.tmz.com/2013/08/15/darren-young-wwe-superstar-gay/
It might be interesting to see if WWE mentions this on-screen. This shouldn't matter whatsoever, and I hope they don't change his Prime Time Players character, but WWE don't have a good track record when it comes to potentially-delicate topics like homosexuality. |

| WWE work alongside GLAAD, don't they? It would be a PR catastrophe if they took any sort of anti-gay stance. Remember the bollocking Michael Cole got when he called one of the other commentators a f****t on Twitter? That probably won't stop them repackaging him as 'Fabulous' Danny Young, complete with a feather boa and Billy & Chuck's old theme.
What a tune that was, by the way.
I'd say keep this news off of TV. American audiences have proven themselves to be notoriously homophobic. It wouldn't end well.

| Call me cynical, but that TMZ interview seems so put-on. How coincidental that you grab an impromptu interview with a WWE superstar, the first question asked is about sexuality, and then he tells you that he's gay. And Darren Young will be speaking at a Be A Star rally today too. Funny that.
Anyway, as you say, it's a different WWE these days, one where they have sponsors and such to keep happy. I guess it'll just be the locker room ribbing that he'll have to contend with. |
