| I'm in Balladeer's camp - Superman has never enthralled me like other superheroes have. The fact he has one weakness isn't compelling to me. A guy like Batman or Spiderman give a more underdog vibe, and it's easier to root for them. |

| Never been a big fan of Superman but enjoyed Man of Steel, think the story and pacing was well done, didn't feel cheesy at any point like I usually expect Superman to. |

That it didn't feel cheesy at any point was exactly my problem with it! Truly, one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. :affraid: |

| I suppose that is a trend in superhero movies we've had over the last few years. Pretty much ever since the Nolan Batman films came out, we've had darker and grittier superhero films as opposed to dayglo, cheesier superhero films. The only one like that in recent memory was The Amazing Spiderman. |

| Iron Man wasn't the most serious movie series either which didn't make it a bad thing except for the second. |

| That's true, didn't think of Iron Man! Although (and I've not seen it, so correct me if I'm wrong) wasn't the third one darker and grittier, judging by the trailer? |

| Thor wasn't that dark either. Though Thor 2 is looking quite dark. I like the superhero films as they are, I never was much of a fan of older ones. |

| Iloved it! The thing is, it put so supes up against someone else so super for a change, instead of just a bald man. Iron man 3 had very very dark themes and deliberately ramps up the comedy to make up for it, I think. |

| I have a love/hate relationship with the cinema. Working in a leisure park with a huge 13 screen IMAX Cineworld means that, whenever there's a big film release we get hammered. As you can imagine, this has happened A LOT lately, including this weekend with the release of 'Despicable me 2'. That, hand in hand with it being pay day weekend means a very busy weekend for myself |

Off the top of my head Yeah, the magician one. I wanna see that because the one film I have no idea about! It's nice to be surprised now and then. Replace This Is The End with that and my list more or less matches yours. |

They were quite literally told "Do not speak to Mr. Pitt unless spoken to" for the entire duration. Like he's Emperor Ming. |
