| Just saw Spider-Man myself and thought it was fantastic! I'm enjoying all the superhero stuff far too much at the moment and after X-Men it's going to be an awful wait for more... |

| I didn't forget Guardians but it's a good few months before it As for Star Wars it's good to see the old faces are on board. |

| So watched American Hustle which was excellent, Miss Lawrence was also very good in it like always which makes me think how good was the women in 12 years a slave to win best supporting actress.
I don't think it was the best of the three David O.Russell films I've seen, with Silver Linings Playbook still being the standout but there all good, it's hard to pick like which Star Wars film is best (only counting the original trilogy) or Lord of the Rings.
Go watch if you haven't. |

| That's exactly what I was thinking. As for American Hustle it's one of the most boring films I've ever seen, I love a good Hustle but I never worked out what the point of any of it was. It was just a film about a bunch of dicks being dicks to each other. |

| Have you seen The Fighter & Silver Linings Playbook, as this is kinda in similar vain and I loved those. The same with AH which so far is the best film I've seen this year by far.
Don't you only like super hero films though Andy, were excepting you Jeremy Renner to turn into Hawkeye half way through. |

| I like lots of films, just Super Heroes are my favourite right now I've not seen the other 2 but if they're in a similar vein I think I'll avoid them. The film I had seen advertised and heard about was not the same film I saw, the cons were uninteresting, the reasons were rubbish and all of the characters were so unlikeable I was confused about if I was meant to care about them or not. I certainly didn't! To give you a bit of context my other 2 least favourite films are Reservoir Dogs and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. |

| I've not seen TTSS which is suppose to be excellent but yet to see it so can't really comment, but Reservoir Dog's is great though one of Tarantino's best, it's no Pulp Fiction though.
The other two films should be watched though just to say you watched sort of thing, like I how I need to watch gravity. |

| I wouldn't say Silver Linings Playbook was like American Hustle in the slightest, save for them sharing a director and two leads in J-Law and B-Coop. I liked the former a lot more than the latter, Andy - I wouldn't rule out ever watching it. |

| Maybe the feel or stamp would of been better Rummy, like all Tarantino's have the same something can't really put my finger on it but it's there.

| I won't totally wrte it off then Rum but unless it's on Netflix I doubt I'll see it anyway As for RD I just couldn't bring myself to be interested or care about what was going on. It hardly helped that I could never remember which character was which... |

| Man, Reservoir Dogs is really good. Give it another shot - it's one of those films you'll want to go back and rewatch once the whole story/twists and turns have been revealed. |

| I might give it a go one day but it might as well be watching the film again for the first time, minus a particularly unpleasant scene. I think the calling characters colours instead of name probably makes it harder for me because I really struggle with names at the best of times so if they're just colours and the men just look like generic mob guys they don't stand out enough to work out who is who and what he's done/doing. For similar problems see The Hobbit and every JRPG ever (I've been playing FFX for 40 hours and keep forgetting Tidus' name). |

| Watched War of the Worlds for the first time last night, never quite realised how dark it could be, you can see where The Last of Us got a lot of it's inspiration after watching that, great film anyway, really captured the scene well. |

| Saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Saturday - it was the most disappointing superhero sequel in a long time. They tried to do too much in the time and only the Gwen/Peter relationship got the time it deserved. |

| Well that's not MMPR that's going at the moment, it be like the new turtles which is a reboot even though there's a current TV series. |

| Well, the kids who watched power rangers are the same age now that the kids who watched transformers were back when they started making that. I'm psyched, and I'm sure I'll watch it, but obviously the kitschy men-in-suits campiness was part of the fun.
On a similar note, one week until Godzilla! I'm really excited. Ben wanting ten years, since watching a pirate copy of the Japanese Final Wars that I didn't even understand. |

| Yeah it must be over 20 years since I watched MMPR, I stopped watching when it became Zeo. Looking at the inspiration Ii would seem it's going to be a dark teen thing with a romance element.
Finally Kimberley & Tommy are going to get together. |
