| yeah Edgar has always seemed to get gaming Wright in his films. But the weirdness thing about the gaming in 40 year old virgin there were xbox controllers on set, it just annoyed me so much. |

| Breaking bad had a pretty hilarious one, Jesse was playing Rage as a light gun game Anyhow onto movies, I watched big trouble in little china & part of escape from LA last night while BTiC is still a great watch you kind of have try and ignore the shocking racial stereotypes but mostly thus impossible. |

| Asian stereotypes are really strong in films. The hangover trilogy basically consisted of "let's all laugh at the Japanese man". |

| I decided to catch up on some films recently and started off with Man of Steel. This is probably the least enjoyment I've got from a superhero film, he was boring, the villain wasn't great and the rest of the cast weren't up to much. Boo. Then I watched The Green Lantern and I don't understand why people seem so down on this film, it was a fun movie about a hero with an awesome power. Ryan Reynolds may have been an odd choice but I thought it was great.
Then over the last couple of days I've gone a bit film mad after being inspired by the X-Men trailer, I've watched and enjoyed the following:
X-Men, I watched this many years a go so it was almost completely fresh to me. I quite enjoyed it but not nearly as much as: X2, I remembered a bit more of this one (particularly the X-Babies adventures) but it was quite a ride. X3 I don't see why people liked this any less than the previous ones really, was just more X-Men fun. Origins: Wolverine, I thought this was alright but I enjoyed it the least out of the bunch. Wolverine is probably one of my least favourite X-Men which probably didn't help. First Class: I really liked this one, it was good seeing some different mutants as well as finding out more about the older 3 X-Men
I then decided to continue down the superhero line of film watching with:
The Amazing Spider-man: This was my second watch and I thought it was a nice reboot. The boss was cool and I like the new Spider-man. I didn't see the credits bit last time so I'm now more excited for The Amazing Spider-man 2. The Incredible Hulk: As I've enjoyed every other film in the Avengers line I thought it was about time I saw this. It was alright but I don't think Hulk is all that interesting so a film just about him didn't do a whole lot for me. The Avengers: Knowing I was going to see Thor 2 soon I thought I'd best refresh my memory of this as every time it was mentioned in Iron Man 3 I was a tad confused as I'd forgotten nearly the whole film. It's a brilliant film though and I'm looking forwards to them all teaming up again in Avengers 2.
After feeling thoroughly caught up on superhero films I thought I'd start catching up on Disney/Pixar when I saw Cars 2 and The Princess and the Frog on Netflix, so I started with them. The Princess and the Frog was fantastic! I really didn't expect much from it but wow it's one of the best Disney movies, if you're a fan of Disney then you need to see this, the story and the music were excellent! I went in to Cars 2 expecting very little as I've never heard a single good word about it, however it was great. It certainly wasn't one of the best Pixar films but it was just some good solid fun. It was really just a really fun spy story, maybe not what you were expecting from a film about cars but it had me laughing throughout.
Finally this evening I've just finished watching Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters which was ok, nothing special but I enjoyed it. |

I.. Wait.. What?!? You sure you saw the right movie? My only issue with Man of Steel was the Arrow like flashbacks, otherwise to me it was brilliant. - Same one wrote:

Green Lantern is not meant to be "fun".. And yeah everyone is waiting for Ryan to do Deadpool so why he got the role of Hal is strange as Hal is a serious kind of guy |

| Saw Thor 2 over the weekend. They seemed to dial up the humour at the slight expense of the story-telling. The original Thor film is quite densely packed but its sequel felt thin in comparison. Still, jolly good fun, with some interesting directions in which to head when they get to the inevitable Thor 3. |

| I liked both of the Kickasses and Scott Pilgrim was ok. I'll have a look at some of the others though Super sounds incredibly grim |

| Super left me cold; I bought it for £3 from Tesco and gave it away pretty much the day after I watched it. Scott Pilgrim is all kinds of awesome - my film of 2010 (despite ace competition from Megamind). Kick Ass is far better than Kick Ass 2. |

| SP is possibly the last non-Pixar film I watched that I really loved. Then I read the comics and it was blown out of the water, but still. |

| I still don't get David " I don't like games" Cage's deal with shower scenes where the leak of Ellen come from, also if your friend is a fan of Miss Page he should watch Hard Candy if he hasn't all ready.
I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night been meaning to watch for ages ever since I bet on Miss Lawrence to win best actress Oscar without actually knowing anything about the film or her. She did win best actress and me about £60, but back to the film I can see why she won it was excellent, worth checking out if you can.

| I *ahem* had a passing interest in JL when the Hunger Games came out so that is a film I've been meaning to watch. I did find myself wondering if they were doing a Russell Crowe when they gave her the Oscar... |
