| Aye its tough to think of well known Namco characters, I do think Cervantes from Soul calibur would be a good fit though. (pic for reference) |

| I'm not sure why but I wouldn't like any fighters from another fighting game, doesn't seem right to me. |

| I kind of feel I'm alone in wanting no third party characters in Smash whatsoever. I've just never felt comfortable with them being included in a Nintendo fanservice game, and they always end up taking slots I'd rather see go to Nintendo franchises that could use with another representative like another Metroid character and the like. |

| Sonic and Mega Man make sense though. Sonic's a Nintendo character in all but name these days and you could have said the same of Mega Man back in the NES days. |

Only if he ditches the Spanish/Portugese (I forget) for a "yarr me matey" accent. |

| Broadly in agreement with Jay. The inclusion of Snake was a mis-step, purely because there hadn't been Metal Gear Solids on Nintendo machines for a long time. I'm comfortable with Mega Man and Sonic on the roster, although I am hoping for more new Nintendo characters too. |

No, you are not. I guess the reason why I'm no longer banging on about it is because it's obviously not the way things are going to be any more, but I'd much rather just have Nintendo characters. However, seeing as that wall was breached with the not-E3 trailer, and I don't find three much more objectionable than two, the list I made previously are the least bad options. Sonic is definitely among the most bad options, but I sense that he's not going away any time soon. |

| Chargeable blaster, maybe? Probably not, but I'll take any moveset changes I can get. Fox seems to be made of wood, for some reason. |

| His character model doesn't look half as good as it did in Starfox Adventures, an non HD game about 10 years ago. |

| I can't get a stable link to the picture, but it seems like the male Wii Fit Trainer is an alternative costume/form. Will be interesting to see how they manage this. Presumably we'll get new voice acting at least, but that seems like a lot of effort for a costume change. The other option is that we have our second clone character, but let's hope that's not the case. EDIT: Piccy. |

| My money's on the alternate costume theory. The voice acting involved will surely be ripped (ha) straight from current Wii Fit games and, if not, the pair are bound to be in the booth for elements of Wii Fit U. They can surely bung them a few extra quid to say "Hnnngh!" or "Urf!". |

I agree with this. I also hope Snake never returns. Mallo from Pullblox, please. |

| Yay, my main is back and looking fabulous! I've been playing Marth since Melee and I'm glad I won't be stopping now. Hopefully this time they make him part of the initial roster and whoever the second Fire Emblem rep is the unlockable one, it didn't take long but I didn't appreciate having to unlock him in brawl.
I agree that it's high time they revealed a new character again however. Even if it's just one before returning to confirming the return of old comers. |

| If I had to pick a FE character's to be in this I would of gone for Chrom & Lucina in Marth Gear. Not the classic marth. |
