Super Smash Bros. U/3D

Well, for me even though I'm excited for the game I'm not really following it too closely as it'd be nice to be surprised by somethings.

That's fair enough, and something I may do myself next year. For now, I'm just enjoying going, "Oh my gosh! Look at that thing! That is an amazing thing that is going to be in this game!"

Really? Really? This franchise needed more Mario characters like it needed a hole in the head. More Pokémon, Zelda characters, Ridley, or something out of left field would be fine, but Rosalina?   

I like the look of Rosalina myself. She looks like she's bringing a fun and interesting style with her and I'm looking forward to giving her a try, those duo controllable character mechanics look like some fun hi-jinks are looming.

Noooooo. Not overly pleased with this announcement. The mechanics of her character look interesting and all, but it's a wasted spot on the roster IMO.

I'm still holding out for Paper Mario. He could be awesome. Anyway, no objections about Rosalina here - the more novelty, the better.

No no no!  There are far too many Mario characters already!  I wouldn't object to a paper-style costume change, though.  Could do without his FLUDD as well, which I saw also made an appearance.

In the video she also seems to be rather massive.

She does seem rather large, and it can't be perspective because Peach is reaching out to touch the crown.

By the by, that picture just replaced one of Jaime Lannister as my Desktop background. The question is, does that make me more gay or less?

She does seem like she'll have an interesting moveset/style but I really don't like her, mainly down to Mario Kart annoyances I think.

How weird was the reveal for her? A video which started with Kirby flying through the air, landing on a rainbow road, and then being surrounded with Mario Kart drivers - I, like many others, thought this was going to be Kirby joining the Mario Kart 8 roster, but then they curveball us and going in another direction completely. Very odd.

Very weird. I've no idea why Mario Kart had anything to do with it, beyond "Rainbow Road's in space, so was Mario Galaxy".

I thought they said in the direct that someone saw the trailer and added her into it or something like that. Also as she's in both games kinda kills two birds with one stone showing in that trailer but of course kirby isn't (not that we know of) in mario kart 8.

I think Sakurai just thought it would be funny.

Yep have to agree with Buska here, the first reveal trailer of smash wasn't really clear either.

Fingers crossed for a Rainbow Road course though, in the same vein of Mario Circuit from Brawl.

That could be cool. I don't know which Rainbow Road, though.
Oh yeah, I thought the reveal trailer was for a Wii Animal Crossing at first.

Always liked the Gamecube Rainbow Road, with that big tube at the end.
