| I don't mind who the characters are as long as they play differently. I'd rather have Rosalina in it if she has her own playing style than I would have, say, Fox, Falco and Wolf, all from a different series but all just variations on the same blueprint.
And Lumas are so cute! I'd forgotten how much I liked them. |

| Honestly, I'd rather they just made Wolf sufficiently different. Or scrapped him for Krystal. Or even Andross. |

| I thought Wolf was sufficiently different to warrant inclusion. It was Falco and Fox who were close to mirror images of each other in Brawl. |

| I think if you're going to have characters with similar move sets Wolf was definitely an example of it done right. Every single one of his moves was significantly different to the other 2s. |

| That's fair. Falco was worse. Or Ganondorf. They had better change him this time around. Rainbow Road is a thing! On the 3DS, anyway. |

| Unfortunately, I'd reckon that's an assist trophy, or possibly an enemy like the Goombas and Re-Deads from Mêlée, rather than one of Zelda's attacks. Still, nice armour. |

| Perhaps, but aren't the new character images all about showcasing the character? I can't see them showing off a new assist trophy at the same time. And on top of that that would make it the second Zelda assist in a row. |

| Hence why an enemy may be more likely. As far as I can tell, half of the supplementary images are just about putting the characters in "amusing" poses. |

| New Year, new Miiverse messages ("Miits"?). Apparently there's a different set of trophies for each game. As someone who'll be buying both anyway, it's a nice touch. |

| Ha, I saw you put that on Twitter when I woke up this morning. I'm not 100% convinced but I can kinda see it. I'd love it if they gave it the full 2Fast 2 Furious treatment. |

| I'm not convinced. At the same time, I wouldn't put it past them. I suppose we'll have to wait and see whether the next one's called Super Smash Bros.: Five-nal Destination. ("Five" is a hard number to do pun-tastic titles with.) Rainbow Road looking like a pretty great course. Here's hoping for remixes of several old Rainbow Road themes, especially Super Circuit's. |

| Sorry for the double post, but there's a new "kid" on the block. And by "new" I mean "old". Nice facial expressions, but not many other updates on show. |

| The Japanese love him. I believe he beat Ridley in a poll for the most wanted character in Brawl on the Japanese Nintendo forum. |

| That's incredibly disappointing. He's the one character in the game I do not get at all. He's just a naff version of Kirby... |

| So's Bowser in some of his games. Ridley isn't that much bigger than Samus in the SSBM opening.
Plus, well, they included Olimar. |

| Shrink down him a little bit, give him some beam attacks and the flying mechanics Charizard had and you're sorted. His Final Smash could be a Meta-Ridley metamorphosis. |
