Have you ever seen that awful Pac-Man cartoon in the 80s? Have you ever heard Mrs. Pac-Man's nickname for Pac-Man? I'm not going to repeat it here. |

Or a vaguely racist reference to his being yellow? Or did she call him Scrotum because he's just a big ball? It was simply "Dave"- nicknames work differently when normal names are so odd. |

| - Monday (New Assist Trophy):
Takamaru, of that rubbish Nintendo Land minigame fame. Made his debut in the same year as Link, Samus and Pit: another Sakurai history lesson.
- Tuesday (New Stage):
Come on, Shanks. If you're going to steal my thunder, post up some pictures or a link. Anyway, yes, there's a Paper Mario stage, which is currently being blown away by a fan from PMSS... I'm sorry, sudden surge of hatred there. Now this is more like it! The S.S. Flavion from only one of the best games ever made! "Since the stage is paper, it transforms when it folds over and opens up again."
- Wednesday (New Assist Trophy):
All the Namco filth is seeping out now. Boss Galaga carries foes to the top of the screen in a tractor beam, but can be shot out of the air.
- Thursday (New Stage):
Zekrom and Milotic will also appear. "The design of this stage is based off of the surroundings of someone's castle." Can't imagine whose...
- Friday (New Mode):
It's called Target Blast. Touch the bomb and a count-down starts. Damage it, whack it, and... ...play Angry Birds by the looks of things! Two rounds to get a high score, which contributes to your "Global Smash Power", of course.

| That sticker star stage looks great & nice of them to include the fan that tries to blows fighters off the stage, in fact its not too different from that classic Kirby stage. |

Someone hasn't been reading properly! Anyway, I disagree - the "first" version usually seems to be more "canon-ish", and N has Zekrom in Black. |

The anime is a separate canon to the games- Yellow is an adaptation of the former. |

That's what I was on about. If the red in gsc is bacon, that implies yellow it's the Canongame. |

| Canon -> bacon, I presume. Anyhoo, he's still called "Red". I reckon that he just traded lots. He's got loads of friends, has Red. And not enough sense to acquire a Thunderstone, apparently. |

Isn't Raichu a step down from Pikachu, though? |

| Depends if it's holding a Light Ball or not (and to be fair it is in HGSS). They're both pretty rubbish anyway. |

| I've never considered Pikachu better even with the light ball. Sure, it's slightly more powerful, but it's way slower and likely to be one shot be basically anything and everything before it even gets a chance to move, unlike raichu which is actually reasonably fast and capable of doing things almost as good as pikachu if holding a life orb. |

| Isn't there a pokemon discussion thread all this could be in?
---
As far as smash bros goes I may go on a blackout for any future announcements, yes it may be difficult but I just don't want to know every single thing about the game before it's released. (kind of wish I done it sooner) |

| Seconding the Pokemon discussion movement - there's a generic Pokemon chat thread, right? I'd like to go on a blackout, but I think I'm going to just soak up every last bit of information I can about the game before release. I did the same with Brawl and it only helped add to the hype. Oh, and I saw this, which I thought was top notch. |

| Aw, but who doesn't love off-topic Pokémon discussion? Re. blackouts, I tried to go on one for Brawl and failed dismally; but I was fairly successful in blacking out on the new Pokémon titles, so maybe my willpower has improved? I might think of blacking out as well, since the release is less than two months away... |
