Without wanting to sound like an arse, where are you (Axis1500) and masofdas getting this stuff from? Give those people credit.

Fair play.
Anyway, back on topic - yeah, fingers crossed that these Nintendo Direct rumours are true. We've still got the one of The Wonderful 101 (as previously announced) to come before August 23rd, but some extra stuff on top of that wouldn't go amiss.

Wii U doesn't need a price drop according to Iwata.
I agree with him, but his reasoning is slightly suspect. (I bet he knows the true reasoning but saying the "Wii U has very few system sellers so a price drop wouldn't do much" is probably not the best course of action.)

Not news, or not yet, and in fact mostly not Wii U: this video, taken at the Pokémon Game Show, is mostly a nostalgic trip through Pokémon history (ahhh, Ruby/Sapphire! Wish they hadn't shown Channel though), turning into an advert for X&Y. The last ten seconds, though...
Those aren't 3DS graphics. They'd better not be pulling another PBR on us, or I'll be seriously upset.

If they did a PBR I wouldn't mind either way to be honest.
But I'm leaning / Hoping not since the battle is in a city

I would actually be very happy with a PBR/ Stadium game as long as they brought back minigames!

Stadium would be fine. Stadium was great, especially 2, when you had the Gym Leader Castle and everything. And Barrier Ball! But I'd still prefer an RPG.
Other idea: maybe it's a beat-em-up? Two bipedal fighting types, squaring off... Probably not, but I'm just throwing the idea out there.

It looks a LOT like Battle Revolution in terms of graphical style and character models, and like everyone else I wouldn't mind that but I'm hoping for more, I don't think they'd be stupid enough to offer such a basic package as they did with PBR again though if that's what it is.

Never actually played/used PBR, despite the fact that it would have been handy to trade 'mon over the Internet (stupid DS/stupid router). Anyway, count me in amongst the people hoping this - whatever it is! - has more meat to it. Is it too much to ask for something similar to XD?

I've always wanted PBR but it never went down in price so I never got around to it. Seemed a rip off for over £20

Until Black and White revolution was the only way you could play random matches on wi fi, as a result I sunk over 100 hours in to that game. Single player was pretty bare bones, but as an expansion to the games I feel it was on the right track. What they need are more robust match setups (Stadium or Battle Frontier I really don't mind either, heck maybe they should do both!) and make buyable rewards able to be sent to the same save file more than once (being able to buy TMs that you only got once a file back in gen 4 sounds cool, until you learn you can only send it to a file once).
If this ends up being a more advanced Battle Revolution that fixes those issues I'll be ecstatic.

Okay this is North America but can see it being fairly close for Europe.
the following Wii U games are coming from Nintendo before the end of 2013 in North America:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - September 20 (Digital), Might download if GAME not getting figure The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - October 4 (Physical) Wii Party U - October 25 (with Wii Remote Plus for $49.99), I need a extra Wiimote Super Mario 3D World - November 22 ($59.99), Getting Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - December 6 ($49.99) Wii Fit U - Holiday 2013 Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games - Holiday 2013
It's worth noting that The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, while previously confirmed for October 4th, will be available two weeks early for fans who purchase it via the Wii U eShop. Both versions are $49.99, though GameStop will exclusively offer a version including a Ganondorf figurine for $54.99. I hope GAME in UK get's this figure.
And this is the 3rd Party
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure - September 24 Warner LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - Fall Warner Skylanders SWAP Force - October 13 Activision Call of Duty: Ghosts - November 5 Activision Sonic Lost World - October 22 SEGA Rayman Legends - September 3 UbiSoft Just Dance 2014 - October 8 UbiSoft Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag - October 29 UbiSoft Watch Dogs - November 19 UbiSoft
Why is it that only seems to be the same 3 third party's mainly supporting the Wii U and of course SEGA now with there deals.
And the Wii U is getting a price drop on september 20th to $300 for the 32GB, You can get it either with Nintendo Land or Confirmed Wind Waker Bundle you get a digital copy of the game , a digital eBook of Hyrule Historia to read on your gamepad and zelda styled gamepad.

Just been looking on GAME's website no console on there but they do have the a Ganondorf Special Edition Listed for £60, so it's wait to 2 weeks and pay a extra £15 for a figure and a nice disc or buy the download for £45.
