| I was originally "pffft" (imagine Nelson with Martin's birthday invitation), but if they've also M+d it as well as the online and HD, then I'll probably get the baseball and the tennis. DAMN YOU NINTENDO STOP MAKING IMPROVED VERSIONS OF THINGS SO I PAY TWICE |

And if Nintendo don't do that I'm sure a store could offer that with download codes. |

| I guess it all depends how much they actually change and improve the games. If it's nothing more than HD graphics and an online multiplayer... Well that's pretty cool actually. |

| Soul Calibur 2 HD with Link(!) could come to Wii U if enough demand is shown. http://www.gamesradar.com/soulcalibur-2-hd-could-get-post-release-content-or-wii-u-version-if-demand-there/ They suggest you spam the producer's twitter. https://twitter.com/hoshino_calibur I normally hate begging, but it's not often that a company says "please spam us at this address". |

Should we all take that advice, or are we just trying to hide things from the son of God? |

| Wasn't that 3DS firmware supposed to be the update that was going to make online purchases account based rather than system based? If so I guess I won't be touching the online store for a while longer. |

Anyway, I've just come off my Wii U after a blast at RLegends. I'm helping! Journalist, wrote some good articles for NotEnoughShaders and now Dromble. Helped a lot of Indie devs in bringing their games to Nintendo platforms. She's very reliable. She correctly predicted the date of the 3DS Update that added the new Streetpass games, for example, and the fact EU would get it before US. |

I am completely over the concept that we have to support a developer so we can get their games. I am really over it. If I want a game I will buy it, end of story. I don't care who made it, as long as it is what I want. The threat seems to be that if we don't buy Watchdogs, then Ubisoft will pull support. Boo hoo. I don't care. Watchdogs seems less interesting than GTA and GTA is about as interesting as having my testicles waxed (well, you may find that interesting, but I don't). I buy a Nintendo console for interesting and unique games. Not all of that comes from Nintendo, but a lot does. I have over 150 Wii games and Nintendo ones make up the minority. Give me games like Rune Factory, Harvest Moon, interesting and new Final Fantasy, Little King's Story, Monster Hunter, interesting and new Resident Evil, plus any new JRPG and I am a happy gamer. |

| I agree with everything you said oldschool, and why I own a Wii U as well. But looking at this in business perspective if watch dogs doesn't sell well and Ubi pull support. When someone goes to look at buying one of the three consoles and the Wii U is only getting nintendo's games and a few, others people will go else where that has the watch dogs.
Also hasn't rayman legends sold best on Wii U, so the rest might as well from Ubi. |

Yes, but there would have been a *lot* of residual pre-orders from when it was still a Wii U exclusive. It may have been a very different story had it been announced as a multi-format title from the start. |

Also hasn't rayman legends sold best on Wii U, so the rest might as well from Ubi. Developers need to look at the Nintendo demographics and cater to it. I am not sure about Rayman, but it has been shown many times in the past that some games sell better on Nintendo - it depends on who the likely audience is. Plus, it can't be that expensive to port a game over to the Wii U. I don't buy what hyperbole some developers espouse, as they can ignore (or pay minimal attention to) the tablet and just concentrate on the Classic Controller. Nintendo isn't blameless though, they need to partner better with some developers and carry some of the load. They can co advertise, they could take on the distribution or even help out with a port. If they want the games bad enough, then they can do better.

| When developers do things like not bringing Soul Calibur II HD, after the original sold best on GC, to the Wii U, they have no right to complain if their crappier titles don't sell.
Thanks Beemoh and Axis. Looking forward to the Wii U firmware update, but couldn't care less about Watch_dogs. I'd rather get my testi- actually, no. No I wouldn't. That sounds unbelievably painful. |

| I just checked VG Chartz (which is as good a figure as you will get) for Rayman Legends, as of the 21st September, the Wii U version has sold 0.07mio, the PS3 has sold 0.06mio and the Xbox has sold 0.05mio units.
Not exactly record setting sales, but more importantly, if you take into account the size of the user base, with the Wii U somewhere around 3.5mio, the PS3 at 80mio and the Xbox 360 at 79mio, then those figures mean a whole lot more. |
