| Yeah it's a big jump and number 2 in japan last week behind the 3DS though which has a combined total of just under 90,000.
Also The Mario & Luigi Wii U Bundle seems to be sold out in the states, I don't know how many they got though could be 100 or could be 100,000. |

| We can all laugh at the Xbox 360 it sold about 360 last week in japan with the week before that 500ish. I don't see why MSoft would even bother releasing the Xbone there it won't sell. |

| So, err, while I couldn't care less about gigaflaps and terraflips, I guess I'd better put this in. An insider on NeoGAF has suggested that the Wii U GPU base specs are: 160 ALUs, 8 TMUs, 8 ROPs. There is also a rumour that the hardware was downgraded in order to fit the size of the box.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=710765
However, this has been debunked by Shin'en Games on twitter, who said that the Dev Kits got faster.

| Okay more bad news on Wii U sells, we've seen the COD sold more on PS4 then Wii U stuff but I have more bad news Batman came out on frisay and sold less then 700 copies on Wii U and Mario & Sonic Olympics also only sold around 700 copies.
Batman sounds bad but same with COD most people have another console to play it on and with the delay some people didn't wait for the Wii U version.
Now M&S:O sounds bad to me as it's a exclusive title with previous titles doing well in the series. |

| With Batman, the Wii U version was late and there has been plenty of time for the "this game is a bit poor" message to get across (the review embargo meant that lots of people bought it on other consoles before the reviews).
As for Mario & Sonic. I had no idea it had been released. |

| Possible reasoning behind M&S doing badly: it's a bad game. |

| The PS4 COD outselling Wii U COD sounds bad, until you realise that it also outsold the PS3 versions of AC4 and Battlefield 3 too.
I'm not saying the Wii U sales are anything to cheer about, but a lot of people bought COD on PS4 for some reason.

| I didn't even know M&S was out yet, and I'm an extremely hardcore Nintendo fan. I guess it will pick up once Olympic fever sets in though. |

| Just a guess but it may be that Batman and M&S sales from the eShop haven't been included and just retail sales have been used by the press to point the finger and laugh at Nintendo ? Also with xmas around the corner perhaps people have held off a while...who knows. All i know is that i'm not getting either game because M&S is poor by all accounts and Batman isn't my thing. Neither is Cod. |

| Mario and Sonic is aimed at the family/ casual base that Wii u just doesn't have yet. And Batman is aimed at a group who probably already have a PS3 or a 360. Until the likes of Mario come out, Wii u sales are gonna look bad. |

| If poor sales of games continue i suppose it will mean they'll be worth a bomb on ebay in years to come as they'll be hard to get hold of for any potential collectors. |

| I think it just boils down to folk wanting something different on Nintendo consoles, as for batman I wanted it on wii U but with the delay pushing it into November there is just no way I could buy a third game in that month so I got it on ps3.
As for CoD I'm sure the low sales won't stop the wii U getting the sequels in the future.

| They're all pretty much games aimed at users who don't even own the Wii U yet as already said, the only one I might have expected to sell quite well was Batman but all chances of that were gone when they delayed it. |

| Rayman did well on Wii u, didn't it? Shows that there is a possibility bit developers have to put the effort in. |

| I like rattlecat views if there's hardly any copies of the game it might go up in price or at least stay around the full RRP due to demand.
I agree I think will see COD again next year, but a few 3rd parties might see these number's and go were not bringing are game to Wii U.
Even Warner who's been a big supporter of the Wii U isn't bring the new LOTR game to the system. |

| Get a sealed Batman and keep it sealed I'm going to keep an eye out for a sealed Luigi U as well as i think most people will have bought the cheaper dlc pack. I totally share the view that the reason 3rd party games suffer is due to the fact that people buy the WiiU for something different to the other 2 which largely share the same catalogue of games. This is why i bought a WiiU and why i consider it to be the most essential new console. Looking at history though, and the failings of the dreamcast which was everything the modern console are doing now but ages ago, the one thing that stands out the most to me was the lack of an amazing football game. The WiiU needs one badly, not for me, but for the 7-15 year old demographic who are largely football mad. EA pretty much decided which console the kids will be getting this xmas. Perhaps Nintendo should have a word with Konami and get them back onside. I still think the best footy game ever was ISS98 |

You should lobby Sega to do Football Manager Wii U. |

| Just finished with the Nintendo Direct. Well, most of it anyway: I turned it off before the '10 Things You Didn't Know About SMW3D' part. I'll be tiptoeing carefully for the next while, but if anyone should blurt out anything that might ruin it for me or others without using the spoiler button I shall be kicking your c**t in. Or worse, buying you an XBox One.
Please be careful!

Grackler is a secret character, and Mario has a Mega Evolution.
Also, 50% of the levels are Funky Kong-themed.
