| Nintendo's "Indie Guy" has jumped ship
Ostensibly it's related to how they didn't like him going off-message, but there's probably more to it than that. |

| That is not a happy tweet. I know that Ninty isn't always great at dealing with third-parties - are they also not great at dealing with people who deal with third-parties? (copy-pastes into CVG AC) |

| What happened to us buying shares, seen something about it in the news thread. I've looked into before and you can buy them quite easily. |

| Hey you guy's like news right
Well notch of minecraft fame posted these two tweets
“Something is flashing in my room, desperately begging me to charge it. Turns out it was my Wii U pad, so I put a pillow on top of it.”
“Don’t worry Nintendo fans, I love both games for the Wii U, and I’m really looking forward to the third one in 2015!”
Some saying he's a dick and what does he know with just two games made, okay one's rather popular & will never be recreated or a few thnk it's a bit of a sarcastic joke about being no games. Personally I think it's the first due to the first tweet but seems to be a right downer on twitter at the moment about the U with the drought hashtag.
But I do have some good news next year there should be a game month on the U, this is just a random list now by me Jan Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Feb Mario Party 10, March Mario vs. Donkey Kong, April Xenoblade Chronicles X, May Mario Maker, June Splatoon, July this is the news that there will be a remastered game coming to fill the cap in one of the month's. How do you guy's feel about that & what would you like. Personally Galaxy 1 & 2 HD
If you watched my YouTube video of Wii U games I'm excited for Dreamfall was on there but was announced at gamescom to be coming first for PS4 even though at one point it was just down for Wii U, PC, Mac but now seems Wii U won't be getting it at all and if red thread do a game for the U it be something that fit's the console better. I'm fine as I'll play on PS4 but I can see some being annoyed. |

| I wouldn't exactly call that news, just a developer making a joke & too many folk taking it the wrong way. |

| He later went on to say he loves his Wii U, he's just finished playing the games he's interested in on the console. Non-issue. |

No thought's on the remaster then Jas as I know you love them. |

A remastered game for wii U? It really depends on what it turns out to be, if its a game I already own & can still happily play then I'll not buy it & tell you all how stupid I think it is but if it's something I've missed then there's a chance I'd get it. |

| But how many Wii/Cube games have you missed you want to play or any you think needs the HD treatment as the other game I was thinking of was Twilight Princess but can't see it happening as Zelda U should come out 2015. |

| There's bound to be a few I've missed somewhere along the road & I don't typically sit and think of what game needs a HD remake either as if I like an older game enough I'll gladly play it on the original system. |

| Chibi. Bloody. Robo. But everything that could be remade would be better served by a sequel, in my opinion. And those two tweets from Notch seemed a little barbed to be dismissed as a "non-issue". |

| I think the remaster, is only being done as if like wind waker will only take 6 month's unlike a sequel and nintendo can go hey we've got games here's one each month & there's no #WiiUDrought next year but I'm counting downloads such as Mario v Donkey Kong as one of those games a month which some might not. |

And those two tweets from Notch seemed a little barbed to be dismissed as a "non-issue". Chibi Robo is a good shout. (no, I wouldn't buy it if they done it as I have it on GC) As for the Notch tweets he later went on to say in a reply to some people: "I love the wii U, I was just making a joke about how I kinda finished the games I'm interested in. I need Zelda."The problem is folk make it more than it was because he's a well known person in the industry. |

| That's the trouble, though, if you're a bigwig in the industry. Your communications will be scrutinised. Fair enough if the man says he didn't mean it, though. |

| Most replies I seen took it all in good fun anyway, I think he was aware that folk would scrutinise it & that just made the joke more effective. |

HD Mrs. Sanderson? *swoon* - Balladeer wrote:

I would agree with that. However... a lot of sequels to successful games of the last couple of generations, now that the technology doesn't really increase capabilities beyond graphical sheen, have been disappointing; it's as if the developer hasn't had enough innovation left over, after the good attempt they made the first time. There are a lot of previews that read "hey, they're bringing back X!" Then, 6.5/10. |

| Retro Studios is recruiting. As explained in the article, signs point towards a Wii U release.
Perhaps it's easier to talk about what I wouldn't want to see Retro working on than what I would. (Another bleddy 2D Donkey Kong, for one.) Wouldn't mind seeing a new Metroid, natch. |

| It doesn't have to be wii u metroid prime, although that would make so much sense, but I would like for it to be something 3D and exciting. I'm so over 2d platformers at the moment, and I haven't even played the raymen yet. |
