| I would do anything for those two games, it would shift Wii U's.
Nintendo & Skylanders
Nintendo apparently had the chance to partner with Activision on Skylanders Spyro's Adventure but decided against helping finance the venture, which would have made at least the first game in the successful game series a Nintendo exclusive.
In a detailed account of the history of Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, Polygon reports that Activision was looking for a partner for the toys-come-to-life video game. Developer Toys for Bob ventured to Nintendo of America to showcase an early development version of Skylanders Spyro's Adventure.
"[Nintendo] spent a long time looking and looking," said Toys for Bob co-founder Paul Reiche. "They were just like 'We have never seen anything like this before.' I've always wondered about the full meaning of that comment [laughs]."
But Nintendo ended up passing. "We have no idea why," said Reiche. "Clearly they have got properties well suited to this world. Why it is that they didn't rush in here will probably haunt them for the rest of their days."
While Toys for Bob was disappointed by Nintendo's decision at the time, it may have been for the best for the franchise in the long run, according to the studio. Still, Reiche is surprised that Nintendo hasn't made a bigger splash in the toy-based video game genre yet.
Last of Us PS4
The rumored date will be 22nd of June and that Sony are thinking about offering a upgrade for PS3 owners to PS4 version like they did at launch.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been cancelled not on Wii U which I bet you were think, but nope the Xbox One version. |

| Maaaan, Skylanders would have made Ninty buckets. It boggles the mind how lucrative the toy-based video game market is. I'm surprised Nintendo haven't made their own effort, actually. |

| Especially with wii U having that unused NFC feature it really does boggle the mind. |

| They did something with Pokémon, but as per with console spinoffs of that series, it gets massively overshadowed by the mainline handheld game and doesn't do all that well. |

| I can't say I'm upset about Nintendo not having anything to do with toy based gaming, while their properties seem perfectly fit for it their games would probably take a nosedive in quality. |

| Nintendo have tried a similar model in the past, with the e-Reader. Their experience with that may have put them off doing a more expensive version with toys. |

| So Korea RRA has just approved a new Nintendo device, described as a portable video player?!
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=804120
I think its worth noting that Skylanders isn't really that popular in Japan, and its not like the game didn't make Nintendo lots of money anyway, with no risk on their part. (Wii version of Skylanders is the top seller, and they get third party fees.) After the way Activision ran Guitar Hero into the ground, I can understand why they'd be wary. Hindsight is always 20-20.
They should do something more with NFC, though.

| Not of great and immediate relevance to us and our tastes, but ex-dominant force in Facebook games RockYou has moved into picking up online games which have been ditched by their original publishers, which does go some way to solving the regular comments section catchphrase about online games closing. |

| Some Rumor's going around that Capcom will show resident evil 7 at E3 but not on Xbox One like I posted about 10 pages ago but for PS4.
Arc System the team behind BlazBlue are teasing BloodRayne reveal.
Beyond Two Souls might be getting the remastered treatment, I also posted about this a while ago as the original rumor was TLoU & this would come out almost the same time. And that Quantic Dream’s have a AAA PS4 title to be shown at E3 with new hair & clothes physics.

| I just can't bring myself to feel excited about a Resi after 5 and 6. The Last of Us was, as has been bandied about a bit, a better sequel to 4. |

| It seems a rather strange one for remastering. It was a great game, but doesn't need a port. |

| I never got around to playing, I'm actually pleased this is coming to the PS4 over the TLoU coming to PS4. |

| If this is all ps4/XO have to offer they can seriously fuck right off, I'll happily play my wii u & go through my backlog of unfinished games on all my systems. - Drunkalilly wrote:

| That octodad does looks fun but hardly a game that will convince me to buy a ps4, the only other things that interests me out of your list is Aliens Isolation (which I'll probably just pick up for ps3) & The division. It should be new/different experiences that are the main selling points yet all I see is "look we have a shiny update for you to buy" I'll no doubt eventually get a ps4 but what they're currently offering doesnt have me convinced. Why should anyone be excited about that? |

Why should anyone be excited about that? Because it's a game with a story like a proper film and everything and all the journalists can tell Mummy and Daddy that they've got a real job covering respectable art and they won't be disappointed in them any more. |

| What beemoh said about QD, on a serious note I like what QD does and there suppose to be as realistic as possible and better physics will only help that.
On the whole new shiny thing, what did the PS360 do that different to PS2XBOX really apart from online.
And out of my list, you not interested in Destiny that's my most anticipated game of the year.

Nothing really which is why I stuck with the wii until a few years ago, also about Destiny I'm not too keen on FPS games. |
