| Didn't they have the most last year, also do you know what the blank ones are like 623 who's that. Also Microsoft seems to have a fair bit. |

| On the 31st of May I believe GameSpy severed games will shut down which affect lot's of games on various console, some games have now changed servers like Mortal Kombat 9 but one of those games that will be affected is StarLancer the only PAL dreamcast game still to have online running through a official server.
So finally everything offical about the dreamcast will come to the end at least in PAL regions on May 31st 2014. |

| Good news there's a private server for StarLancer, yay the dreamcast will still have better online support then the Wii U On to more serious news Ubisoft have delayed The Division to 2015, announced Far Cry 4 which will be out for 360, PS3, ONE, PS4 and PC this November with footage to be shown at E3. Assassins Creed Unity exclusively on PC, PS4, and Xbox One has had TEN different studios working on it . All info from there financial report which I think they posted a loss of $17 million, they also have The Crew, Just Dance 60641544 coming this year. Only thing I'm bothered about there is The Division which has now been delayed. Ultra Street Fighter 4 download upgrade will land in early June, then you can all play as one of my favs poison. |

| Subject: CVG faces closure as part of drastic Future UK cuts, Thu 15 May 2014 - 20:40 | |
| Enjoy CVG while you can. From MCV: - Quote :
Every member of Future UK has been put on a 45-day consultation period and games website Computerandvideogames.com faces closure, sources close to Future's management have told MCV.
Mass changes will happen across the board, with big alterations also being made to Total Film as well as other future games website.
MCV understands Kotaku UK, PC Gamer and Gamesradar will be safe under current plans, although that may change.
In an email to staff Future boss Zillah Byng-Maddick said that Future's business model was not 'working hard enough' and admitted 'we need to change and fast.'
Doesn't sound like ONM is long for this world either... http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/all-future-uk-staff-at-risk-of-redundancy/0132488 |

| It will be disappointing to see the oldest surviving brand in games journalism (And the second oldest, period) go, especially considering that it's the only games site that doesn't seem to get carried away with agendas and moaning, and more to the point, they seem to have replaced it with Kofuckingtaku.
I suppose it was inevitable- most sites have gone down the bloggier route of GR or Kotaku anyway, and those which are formatted similarly to CVG have had to expand out into films, television and so on. But it's still a shame. |

| Don't hit up CVG much, but will be a shame if it sees Scullion out of a job. I hope ONM survives though. Can't imagine not having a Nintendo magazine every month. |

| On my laptop, so I can type more eloquently now.
This is rubbish, although perhaps expected given that Future were obviously orbiting the drain. While you can slag off the Article Comments with quite some justification, were they any worse than most other news sites'? And both the small community of Nintendo fans on the forum, and the frankly excellent podcast (listen to it chaps, it's honestly hilarious, and this week's edition has both ONM's Joe Skrebels and The Scullion in), would be sorely missed. We'd just set up a group for playing MK8 on release, and damned if there weren't more Nintendo fans crawling out of the woodwork than I'd thought. Was really looking forward to giving it a shot.
I'm doing what little I can to keep the place afloat. Even disabled Adblock on CVG, despite the awful screen-shifting adverts. But I imagine the damage is done. Then I guess I'll get my news from Nintendo Life, and my conversation... from here alone, probably. |

| I've extended the offer, but can't see them taking it up somehow. And endearing though your enthusiasm is, Mas, I don't think either you or any of us can successfully emulate the work of a multi-man journalistic team.
Beemoh, why the swear in Kotaku? What's wrong with it? I've heard good things about new lady Keza, including a commendable podcast performance. |

| Is anyone surprised that The Division is delayed? After Watch_Dogs STILL isn't out I was expecting it for a while. Far Cry 4 is good news though. Interesting to see how they'll match it up to the high standard of 3. |

With the caveat that I've not touched the site in years (for the reasons I'm going to say it's shite) and that I thought Keza was alright on Eurogamer back when she did that- it's just the worst site for linkbaity sensationalism. It might have changed since, and Britaku might be independent enough of the original site to not fall into the same traps, but I'm not confident. It's also a bit disappointing that rather than being usurped by a new Future site, they've just bought someone else's brand along. |

| So terrible sales all well for this month's NPD (American sales.)
PS4 is top at 200k, which is still isn't exactly good. Xbox One despite Titanfall is 115k, which is worse than any April the 360 ever had. (Suddenly ditching Kinect makes more sense.) The Vita is at a pathetic 5k. The 3DS is apparently very bad too, though no numbers publicly available. And i'm guessing the Wii U is awful too.

| 3D Realms is still stuck in 1999 it seems with this wonderful trailer, which awful by today's standards. I do have some info on the game which is ARPG which will star Bombshell a cyborg woman who has to save the president from aliens, the game seems to be originally a Duke Nukem game but has been reskined due to legal matters between Gearbox & 3D Realms. It will be coming to PC & PS4 Q1 2015, real next-gen stuff it seems Ohh more leaks have been making the rounds which seems to out the name of Zelda U which will be called Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmares |

| Sad for the folk who work at CVG (Scullion etc) but the forum folk? not so much......some acted really shitty in my opinion when NGamer was shut down (wasn't a fan of the place before that) and also when we decided to set up shop here. - balladeer wrote:
