| So there's been rumors of Halo 2 Anniversary for a while and there was rumors of Halo 3 & 4 getting just ported over in some collection.
The collection has been outed again with all the games being in HD.
Would make sense with 5 being confirmed, and could help One sales in the fall as they don't seem to have a killer app this year. |

good. That's a pretty generalising thing to say, Jas. Article Comments is filled with trolls, and though there are decent people in there it's often not worth sorting through the dross to find them. But I didn't extend the offer to them. And I can think of a couple of regular CVGers who I wouldn't want anywhere near this place, sure. None of them would have any interest in coming to a mainly-Nintendo forum. Come on, Jas: I'm not a "lad". I'm one of the least laddish people on this site, including our homosexual admin. I'm not going to be aiming to invite the "lads' club" members over. (The biggest "lad", rbt, ironically has a GNamer account already.) And now any of the decent people who see your message may not want to come, for fear that they'll be pissed on just for coming from CVG. Don't tar 'em all with the same brush. |

| That wasn't my intention, I'm sure there were/are decent people there but I'm just pointing out that I didn't have a nice experience when I occasionally visited the cvg forum.
Also I will say that the two CVGers that have joined us already seem sound. |

| Fair enough - there are some parts of CVG which aren't great, and some users I'd ban almost on sight if they popped up here. Most of the forum's Nintendo crowd are pretty cool, though. |

| I seen a fair few twitch users on twitter debunk this pretty much straight away, due to variety not being a reliable source......aslo...that article mentions "uploading videos" to twitch and this is something you cannot do. |

| It wouldn't be the first or last time BBC news reported on a false story, anyhow not really fussed if they do sell to google or not. |

Technically the act of streaming to Twitch is 'uploading', although it's unlikely Variety took that into account. |

In fairness, I was signed up to NGamer from when the mag first launched but it had pretty much had its day by the time it merged with CnVG. I had no problem with the merging of the sites, but I hardly used it as it felt as much its own clique as CnVG does. |

| Actually there was a discussion on CVG only the other day about how awful CVG was back then. Full of horrible horrible argumentative people. I take great pride in having modded at least a couple of them into oblivion. So yes, things were a bit rubbish back then, and most of the current crop recognise that (there's always one). They're not now though. |

| So this is interesting. 33 1/3 (a nerdy book series I love) is doing a book on Koji Kondo's SMB soundtrack. This is the first time the series has covered anything except Pink Floyd, The Beatles, etc, albums, and the entire book will be all about just 3 minutes of music. Not out until next year, though.

Considering what they published previously, this is quite a departure.

So a Business story about a form of Entertainment winds up in... Technology. Because obviously. |

They do, and there is a chance that it is (or has been) in at least one of those other sections- but it says 'Technology' at the top of the page, and it shouldn't be in that department at all. |

| Far Cry 4 hasn't even been shown yet but we know it has preorder bonuses at certain store's and a season pass confirmed which includes Day One DLC I think.
Really Ubisoft Really.
I'm getting rather ticked of by Ubi, I think I will touch Valiant Hearts and Beyond Good & Evil 2 of there's but nothing else that I can think off from them. |

Really Ubisoft Really. What, they're making sure the people making the game can put food on the table before going all out with the PR blitz? Terrible. |

| I've got no problem with Ubi wanting to make money and people earning a living.
But to announce these type things before even a screenshot seems rather money grabbing. |

But to announce these type things before even a screenshot seems rather money grabbing. Why? It'd all have to be nailed down as either happening or not before development starts- which would involve getting external companies involved- in case that meant that all or part of it might not go ahead. Considering that it's Gamestop who have 'announced' this, not Ubi, it's hardly fair to blame them for the timing. |
