| What Jay said.
Random point vaguely related to gaming du jour: ONM's Joe Skrebels' middle name is "Valerians". Valerians. How brilliant is that? I know what I'm calling any son I have. |

| I found the banned username list for Dark Souls 2 character creation, and it really is something special.

What's the best username which is creatively dirty that you've seen online? |

| After banning all the component parts, was it necessary to deliberately ban fuckingshitmotherfucker? Or did that come up first and then they decided to ban each of the individual words one by one as they decided they were offensive? |

| I really hope it was banned first before they realised "shit, they can make OTHER swears out of THIS username!"
My personal favourite - "ip freely". |

Balla, that's fucking disgusting. Don't post stuff like that here! There's a reason it's on that banned list. |

| I'm worried that they do mean something offensive to someone, and I've just been hugely racist or something! |

| I'm halfway through moving into a new flat (near Highbury. Lots of red and white around this afternoon). I have no Internet, because Talktalk are taking their sweet time to set it up; and no TV, because at the moment I'm just using suitcases to transfer stuff, and the family hasn't hired a van yet. Thank goodness, then, for the Wii U's lack of DRM and off-screen play. Child of Light has been one of very few bright spots against the endless monotony of shopping, cleaning, and shopping for cleaning products. It still looks gorgeous on a small screen, but it could have the visuals of the latest CoD game and it'd still be a godsend. And a big to the off-screen-hating beemoh! |

| Posh, that must cost a bomb to rent but I guess your earning (don't know what you actually do) London wages, so swings around about really.
The new COD looks rather nice from the trailers, I've tried Child of Light on my VITA and looks gorgeous on that and suits off-screen play quite well even though it's a feature I barely use on either sustem.

And a big to the off-screen-hating beemoh! Sorry, I couldn't hear you over playing Dark Souls. |

Not really - I'm in the less nice bit of the area around Highbury. Still pretty punitive though. (I'm an actuary, working for Bupa. Lotsa numbers.) |

| Not really a random thought but what would you do sort of thing, As you might of seen in the yesterday I bought thread Cappa sometimes posts how he got a item from someone on another forum (there's other forums) and does trades on there.
I recently been looking on retro-collect forums and trying to get the rest of my PAL Dreamcast collection with only 45/46/47 (depends on your view of completion) to go.
As it's retro-collect they can see like you can what's in my sig, and someone was interested in my res evil, zelda and mega drive stuff. There not getting any of the res evil or zelda but mega drive stuff is fair game as I'm never going to get a complete set as there's far to many and some real expensive ones but would of course keep likes of sonic's, streets of rage, golden axe etc.
What I was offered was some really cool jap collector's edition stuff like the 12 Disc Sakura Wars Box-Set, Atelier Marie & Elie and some more games and cool bit's like the karaoke system (music singing games the dreamcast had with DLC as well before others), dreameye (motion control camera also something else the dreamcast had before others also with webchat), arcade stick which is rather boring but I do need one and the box is slightly cooler, VMU's but most just in fancy colours so wasn't really bothered but two are the GODZILLA battle arena ones which are plain looking VMU's but with a godzilla character on them which you can link to another VMU to battle. A streetpass remake would be cool of that.
I am finally getting to the point as you might think none of that lot help me finish of the PAL collection even if it is cool stuff, He's offered me promo copy's of about 20 games with about 6 games I don't have, so far the whole collection is retail games and I was aiming for all retail if I was to have these promo version's it doesn't feel quite right. They are PAL & the full games but when looking at them all it's just going to be a plain white disc in a see through case next to all those lovely blue boxes but the I reason bring it up as if I saw these in a shop I would most likely pick them as i would think when am I going to see these again or when will I be here again.
One of the promos is canon spike which is a £60 for a retail version with the promo worth rather less like £40, so is much cheaper for me and could be a decent trade with me as the mega drive stuff he want's is worth about £250.
Grundies might be a good one to answer it due him collecting to completion, but the question is should I have the promo's of the games I'm missing. |
