*also, I'd argue that the character limit actually encourages discussion. By only being able to express brief sentiments, one is unable to splurge huge ammounts of information without anyone else interjecting or making counter points. It encourages a more two-way conversation, which in some situations can be very useful.
**Also, I tend to express my emotions in words of only 4 characters, which I'll teach you when you're older.

Each to their own. I prefer longer alternating posts (with the odd reaction .gif interspersed, of course). And I am a naturally verbose person, which is one reason I enjoy NaNo so much!

Also, Tumblr seems to be mostly used for outbursts of emotion, whereas Facebook is for photos. of children/meals/boasting about your run/politics.

To be honest, I don't disagree with you, much as I like twitter. I'm just in a contradictory mood.

Well I'm finished the writing, and almost finished the admin. One more event to organise, but it's pretty much done; and a couple of messages to send on Facebook and stuff.

I mean, finished the writing for the month. 70k written, still nowhere near the end of the story!

Congratulations, sir! A feat of willpower and typing speed, right there. Both times I did NaNo, I was just happy to limp over the finish line with a handful of days to spare... so 70,000 words seems boggling. Colour me boggled.

I'm writing again! Or publishing on the Internet, rather. I wrote a short story called Library in the Scrub, and now I'm segmentally posting my long story, Faerie Eleison. I've got a Wordpress blog https://balladsandwords.wordpress.com/ and a Wattpad profile https://www.wattpad.com/user/ML_Balladeer The latter's probably better for reading on, but requires a Wattpad or social media sign-up. Also our own ZeroJones suggested one of the characters!

My second Retro Collect piece went up about a week ago about System Shock also since then I was asked about applying for a website that covers PS4ONE etc but how the site was done it seemed like they were going for a dude bro type of thing. Which isn't the sort of thing I want to do.

I know I'm the only one in to rap music on here, but spent a fair bit of time on this: My Favourite Hip-Hop Albums from 2016.

I actually like rap and hip hop, I just don't get exposed to enough of it. I will definitely read that and check out your recommendations

I'm into rap music as well, though I tend to stick to local or the older rap these days. (Will give that a read shortly)

Something on the Switch on Retro Collect

So, over on the Transformers forum which I used to frequent but now only visit rarely, I just posted a dumb short story. I imagine it will be meaningless to most non Transformer heads, but I'd be delighted to be proven wrong!
