I drew a "comedy walloper", as Cappa would say, out of Farages, but I didn't really want to bring the tone down by sharing it.

As a website that appreciates the subtle art of #banter, I felt that this might go down well.

I was somewhat amused.

N'awww, that was great! I was very amused by someone in the replies to that tweet pointing out the random lady coming out and doing a kick at the end.

I presume that she was coming on for whatever the next dance was? Dunno how she felt she could compete with Funkachu, though.

Along those lines, you might appreciate the existence of Ditto Pikachu costumes... god only knows what this "Pikachu festival" actually is, mind.

Ah, I've heard they sell plushies of Ditto Pikachu in the Pokemon Center stores - they hide them amongst the normal Pikachu plushies.

Imagine buying one for your child by mistake, then they unwrap their birthday present and see the "face"...

"Mum, what's wrong with Pikachu?"

"...oh, that must be Pikachu's brother or something. Go play your GameBox, sweetie".

Seeing Balladeer post Fred MacAulay's legendary "FUCKIN'...BOOOOOOOO!!!" bit from Mock The Week reminded me of the only bit that's ever come close on the show.

Literal tears here. There's something about comedians pissing themselves that's just great, especially Ed Byrne with his wheezing laugh.

I really enjoyed that. It was brilliant and refreshing to see actual spontaneity and warmness from the MtW guys, and like Balla I always enjoy it when comedians are laughing. Its why some sitcoms feel so unnatural, with characters cracking wise and nobody else reacting, and why I love podcasts so much.

That was incredible! To me, MitM was always "the thing I sat through before Simpsons".

I loved Malcolm in the Middle. There's rumblings of a reunion show, which makes me a happy happy man.

I found that very tough on my phone... although the 'Play Again?' box more than made up for it.
