| I'm in Anor Londo, as of yet without incident. I'm properly getting into it again, so it had better keep working! I'm gonna get properly stuck in after Devil May Cry. |

| Best of luck, Drunka!
How far did you get through Anor Londo on your previous attempts? |

| My previous attempt it froze up as soon as I arrived at AL, but the time before that I managed to get to O&S once or twice, between bouts of Playstation Diarhea. |

| Been attempting Ornstein and Smough. I can kill one or the other about 50% of the time, but the second is always a struggle. Having Solaire helps with the first bit but not the second: and getting to him means going through the royal sentinels and the silver knight, plus using a humanity. Anyway, I decided to go exploring back in Lordran and come back to these buggers in a bit, so I'm currently in the catacombs. I'm guessing most people come here a bit earlier? I'm pretty much one-hit killing everything. |

| I didn't go to the Catacombs till after O+S. You don't need to go there until after O+S, but it's worth clearing out before O+S considering the enemies are pretty weak. |

| As it was, I was able to kill the boss with four hits and without taking damage. Rite of Kindling was nice to find, now I'm heading back to kill lautrec. |

| DOUBLE POST!
So immediately after my last post, I strolled into Lautrec's world and bumped him off. Then I went and grabbed Solaire, seeing as I was human anyway, and went into the chamber only to beat Ornstein and Smough like it was never even that challenging. Funny how things work out, huh?
So now I've put the lordvessel on the altar and I'm already to start kicking some butt. I'm properly into New Dark Souls as it were for the first time in ages. I'm buzzing. All I want to do is play, but no I have to go to my job and my family and all that rubbish. Jeez, what a bummer. |

| Nice! out of interest who did you defeat last out of O & S? Folk always say it's better to leave Smough last but I done the reverse. |

| When I eventually killed them, I took out Smough last. It was just a question of killing whichever one Solaire didn't distract. |

| Aye they are really creepy, also even though there's none in bloodborne I still tested every single chest with tap of my weapon first. |

| I linked the fire as I'd placed the vessel too early to meet Kaathe anyway.
The big question now is, how long can I spend consuming articles, youtube videos and podcasts about Dark Souls before my thirst is quenched?
What a game. WHAT a game. |

| I suggest trying Kaathe's ending if you do a NG+... it's interesting, to say the least.
I recommend looking up VaatiVidya on YouTube - he goes a bit deeper into the lore. A dude called EpicNameBro on YouTube has recently started a Dark Souls playthrough on his channel, and he's worked on the official guides for games in the Souls series so he has some interesting development stories about the game to tell. |

Ooh, definitely. I actually really want to jump straight in and start a new game but I have to play other things, wrote stuff, work and have a social life so need to resist Dark Souls for now. - Quote :

Way ahead of you! Had him subscribed for a while, just been waiting until I finished the game to start watching. Also been listening to Bonfireside Chat and Twin Humanities. - Spoiler:
Capra Pinwheel
can absolutely do one. |

| Here's a question for you all - what boss did you find the hardest to take out?
For me, it was Seath. The risk of curse coupled with his massive swings plus the annoying runback to his boss arena resulted in a very salty Jay. |

| For me it's a throw up between O&S and Crossbreed Priscilla, I remember more attempts on O&S for sure but the run back to Priscilla could be really aggravating & the whole invisible thing could feel really cheap. |

I spared Priscilla. Once I reached her, she seemed nice enough and let me go so I carried on my way. For me, it was probably someone like the Capra Demon. Most of the bossed gave me a bit of trouble, but from Ornstein and Smough onwards I had my head around the gameplay and I had a beast of a great sword so nobody really bothered me. That said, Quelaag and O&S I absolutely could not beat without an NPC's assistance, so maybe they're the ones really? |

I had a horrid time in the painted world so I felt she had to pay for that. |
