What really !&$&2 me off is when people pour in the water before they add the squash.

They always do that in the adverts for squash. I know it looks pretty, but that's only because a huge percentage of the drink has no fucking cordial.

While I'm at it, get rid of those adverts/social media videos of food that ends with a shot of the prepared food being cut open and juices oozing out in slow motion. Don't even get a wiggle down there when they pull that shit.

What bugs me is the McDonalds advert of the Egg McMuffin, showing everything cooking in slow-mo. Which'd be fine, but I know how those things taste and they don't deserve slow-mo.

McMuffins are lovely! They're the only valid reason to be awake before midday.

They think I've got Gastroenteritis, so nothing that serious but got to have blood tests etc and not sure what is happening with work as I've been off since Friday with it (a day actual day off in between that) and still sort of got it but Dr didn't sign me off, so work want me back tomorrow but I'm still being sick (not often) and still feel like I've gone a few rounds with Tyson (not all 12 like how I felt on Saturday).

It's not also that, it's the busiest week of the year and I don't want to let likes of EofGiz and other work friends down.

Yeh, I get that as well,I never take days off. If you're properly ill though, its just a shop at the end of the day. They'll live.

Blood test today, results on Friday. Now getting a thing where blood pressure goes nuts if I lay down, thus making sleeping a hazardous activity. And I'm immediately hypocritical in that I'm the only one at work who can finish something pretty important...

It's not uncommon for me to feel an emotional reaction from news stories. But what is rare is how angry this story makes me utterly furious and sick to my core.

The idea of swatting is just disgusting to me and it's always been clear that it could put lives at risk but the fact that it has now killed someone, and the person who was killed was just an innocent man is so sad and it makes me so unspeakably angry. I just don't understand how completely devoid of intelligence someone can be that they would do something like this, and even fabricate a completely b***s*** story to force the authorities to respond in the way that they did. It's just despicable. I'm really angry and I hope the bastards who did this spend the rest of their lives regretting it. ANd I hope those lives are short and full of misery because I'm really angry.

Yeah I read that this morning. I'd no idea swatting was a thing and it's absolutely abhorrent.

I knew about swatting because, to the surprise of no-one, it was really popular with popular internet hate group Gamergate.

I mean, it's sickening... but the real problem is that a cop shot an unarmed man. Still.

The cop shot a man they believed was holding someone hostage, if a cop has a gun pointed at you keep you hands up and do exactly what you're told. I don't think you can blame the police for what happened in this case.

That argument stops working when an innocent man, very often a minority, is unlawfully shot day after day after day after day after day. At this point, these people obviously should not be given this authority to shoot with impunity any more.

The whole thing is sickening and wrong. Who came up with such a dangerous and vicious prank?

A very mentally disturbed person.

This was a culmination of a pile of failures by the justice system. The law enforcement for being so poorly trained, and the system itself for even allowing what was undoubtedly a danger to society to roam free and unchecked like he was doing when he got the whole situation set up. Things like this are why I tend to ignore the USA, this sort of injustice always leaves me absolutely fuming.

Athrun's got it, pretty much. It's all wrong. And there's no reason at all the police couldn't have tased him as a precautionary measure that wouldn't have killed an innocent man.
