| What's everyone's thinking then? Are we going for one day or go Saturday stay over till Sunday? I could always bring the Wii U with a selection of multiplayer games if that were possible. |

| I think me and Drunka are going to stay the night.
Also we should have two Wii U's and two copies of Pokken for LAN multiplayer, which Is the only way I think to play MP not online. |

| I'll probably do likewise. Have people booked up places to stay, or...? |

| Not yet! I think we should block book an in-town Travelodge, or something like that. |

| Yeah, we ideally want to all be in one place, and presumably bulk is cheaper. Definitely not planning on doing Newcastle and back in a day! |

| Yeah, I'll be heading up on the Saturday and spending the night. Travellodge will likely be the way to go I reckon! |

| Just to confirm, people are going up on the Saturday? Morning or afternoon? It's suddenly become quite relevant for me, I have a potential choir rehearsal on the Friday evening. |

| I'm still yet to book this off but as I've got stock take off, I'm going to use that as leverage to get Sat - Monday off.
I would think me and Drunka would fly up Saturday Morning.
Also I was thinking Zero said about a pub which he's been to is decent, do they have a function room or something as when I've been to streetpass events which includes using the Wii U we've gone to a certain bit of the pub where a TV was setup.
Maybe Zero could sort something out like that. |

| My friend recently moved up to Newcastle so I might see if I can visit him the same weekend (and stay over at his on the cheap). |

Indeed! As soon as I get back from my holiday at the start of next month, this will be at the top of my agenda. |

| Right chuffsters. We really ought to get the ball rolling on this and get some plans set in concrete besides a date and a place. Some things that need sorting: Accommodation - I'm assuming we're just going Travelodge/Holiday Inn, but I may be assuming wrongly! Plans - Function room sounds like a shout, especially if we can get a TV in for some gaming laughs. I'm dead excited for this, I should add. |

| Good shout with the hurrying-up, Jayseph. Is anyone staying Sunday? My plan is currently to book Monday off work and stay there on the Sat./Sun. nights. |

| I'm currently thinking I'd only stay Saturday night, maybe Friday. Depending on how I'm travelling, I might be able to go back Monday morning and work the late shift.
Has anybody more sensible than me started looking at hotels etc yet? |

Nope, but then I'm not sensible. |

| Good job Mas is here, I've had a look but as I don't know where were actually going in Newcastle. I've gone for the nearest to the airport with a twin room (this seems rather hard) and for Saturday & Sunday night it would cost £166.
And flights for £52 each, which would be bring us back Monday morning at 9.40 in Bristol. If we came back on the Sunday it be £94 each and the Hotel would only be £97 for a Twin Room.
So Sat & Sun would cost us £135 each or we stay the one night and it cost's us £142.50 each. |

| Travelodges and that in the town centre (or thereabouts) appear to be just over £100 for the Saturday for single rooms... |

| I'd imagine twin rooms will be a bit cheaper, so we should probably aim for those. |
