Things that you really love

Spring sunshine! It's too hot in summer, but just right in spring (most of the time, this is a bit ridiculous). My writing group's going out into Regent's Park tomorrow afternoon, and I shall be bringing Pimm's. Super-psyched!

Today's thing I love is pizza. I've got the Domino's Pizza Tracker open on my lap - we're in the 'Baking' phase as I type - and I can't wait! Not even giving up pepperoni has diminished my love for it. Yes!

I'll tell you what, it was approaching summer levels of hot here today!

Pizza is life, pizza is love. I had a dominos on Sunday and one from the local family italian yesterday.

Zero, how long have you been veggie? I'd assumed you were ignorant of the delights of pepperoni.

Pizza yes, but DomiNOes. I'm not a big fan of takeaways in general actually, just didn't grow up with them in the house and now they always feel a big slimy.

I was 32 when I switched. I never liked steak, beef or bacon and was trying to give up ham at the time. Then I saw a science programme about extinction and it said a lot of natural habitats around the world were being levelled to rear cattle for burgers. So I decided to become pescetarian

and haven't looked back (much - I missed chicken, turkey and pepperoni for a month or so).

Yup, this is really too much. But anyway: being kinda down, then going downstairs for a drink of water, and having a tiny dog snuffling me and jumping on me and licking my face. I'm not a huge animals person, but the occasional lick from a tiny dog is a very nice thing indeed.

Just the first song made me laugh out loud in surprise! I can sort of do music but the "not the keyboard" side of the accordion looks scary as all hell - fair play to the fella.

Yep, too many buttons! I'm surprised by how many tracks sound amazing on the accordion, so props to the fella indeed.

I've been listening to this as I GName this evening. We just got to the imperial march.
