Being able to treat students like adults and humans, and having them do so in return. Need to try to make sure it happens more often.

But teachers aren't humans, they're teachers! It's nice that you have a rapport with your educatees; teacher-pupil relationships (no, not that kind of relationship) can be very rewarding.
On a slighly related note, my coursework feedback was returned on time today. Which is very rare. And I got 72% in it which is rarer still. I'm very very pleased.

I absolutely hated school right up until around sixth form, when that kind of relationship with teachers became possible.

Opening a new box of teabags and getting a good whiff of that tea smell.

The twin smells of tea and coffee are glorious things. Although opening a box of flavoured green tea is grand as well.

It took me a long time to come around to coffee. A combination of Prosecutor Godot and Animal Crossing made me think coffee was cool, and I started to drink it until it grew on me.

That said, the smell of cheap powdered coffee is awful. Like dried fart.
