You are a lucky person. Lucky person. Can't wait for this. It's something everyone I know will want to play, and it looks the biz too. As long as I don't have to use the Wii Wheel this time, I'm in. Vettel just won his 4th successive F1 championship because his steering wheel was stuck on to the bloody car. |

That's a little naff. For all the hate the bikes got, the fact that they were different from karts made them mean something as opposed to just being reskins. It would be nice if they at least handled more differently. I'm glad the wheelies are out. - Jimbob wrote:

The wheel was there but I managed to use the gamepad. My buddy used the wheel and came sixth. |

| Re-skins have been a thing since DD!! Remember the Barrel Train, Waluigi's digger, or R.O.B.'s... things? If they didn't handle any differently, I don't see why the bikes should, apart from precedent. Bad precedent.
Good to hear it looks nice, but then I didn't really expect anything less. Another good thing about this is that it sounds like it's a fair way to completion, meaning that a Q1 release date doesn't sound too unlikely (unlike SSB4, which I still don't believe will make 2014). |

| Okay, who asked for Baby Daisy to make it back for this one? Looks nice otherwise, mind. In particular, the cloudy course gives me good memories of Super Circuit's Sky Garden. |

| Not me, but it is a given that she'd be there as the other babies were. Though do wonder if there is a Baby Rosalina? |

| Boy, that airport level looked phenomenal. I hope there's plenty of opportunities to barge other players in mid-air into the planes.

I thought the same when watching it. It really does look great, and ideally the online mode will be just as good as MK Wii in terms of connection stability. Am I the only one though that would like to see Rainbow Road from the N64 version make an appearance? |

| I find it interesting that this game was cited by Iwata as the first of the new batch of WiiU titles that will use the gamepad in unique ways... It surely can't just be the horn, can it? |

| That would be hilarious in a way. Beep beep!
It's more likely to be an MKDS/7-style map, although those are not new or exciting, I must admit. Dare I hope for... a track creator? :affraid: |

| Why don't they have specific tracks where you will be essentially pinged from the TV to the gamepad. |

| One thing I found surprising in the sales report from the financial meeting - Mario Kart Wii sold another 1 million units this year.
That shows there's still a lot of people that love the series. |

| Possibly games we don't have release dates for yet as Nintendo often spring surprises like this, they don't usually follow the route of announce a game 2 years before its actually out. (Also I'm sure e shop games will plug some gaps as well as some third party stuff) |
