| So I seen capt America 2: the sequel earlier in the week, pretty good action movie all round though their attempts at twists were very predictable & I've seen folk say it better than Avengers which is complete nonsense in my book.
Now bring on the Godzilla. |

| Last night I saw Noah. Grim and heavy-handed, it was nonetheless a certain kind of fun. |

| Finally watched the Raid the other night. Incredible combat, pretty grim in places. Like Jas said on twitter, not sure how they're gonna do a sequel. Now, because that would be borderline masculine I'm watching Pretty Woman. I love this film but it is properly weird isn't it? |

| Just watched Cap 1 and Avengers in preparation for seeing Cap 2 tonight. I always forget how brilliant these films are until I rewatch them. |

| The new X-Men film is my number one most anticipated superhero flick coming out - looks like a proper blockbuster that does. |

Yeah, it looks "big" in a way that a lot of films don't manage lately. I suppose the last one was Avengers, although this at least looks like it does feature peril for its characters, and a threatening villain. |

| The villains were the worst parts of Avengers. Still trying to find someone to see Cap 2 with.
What with all the hype around this, I might have to see it. Am I going to have to have seen the other X-Men films, does anyone know/think? I've only seen First Class. Enjoyed it, though (bar Ron Weasley playing Banshee). |

| It looks like you need to have seen 1, 2 and First Class, which are the three good ones. |

| Rupert Grint wasn't in First Class Balla.
And this one should be decent seeing Singer is doing it. |

I think I may have seen 1 as well. That's the one with touch-death girl being strapped into a massive machine by Gandalf, isn't it? So I need to catch up on 2. |

I haven't seen it, but The Wolverine is supposed to be good. WARNING: Make sure it's "The Wolverine" and not "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". |

| The third one's not up there with the best, but gets a harder time than it deserves. The Wolverine was alright, reasonably low key although it had two glaring X-Men faux pas. X men oranges: tangerine is utter shit by every possible measurement. |

| I quite like 3, I didn't like Origins. The only redeemable part of it was Gambit was alright. I didn't realise Deadpool was Deadpool til right at the end... |

| Anyway that new Spider-man movie aint bad at all, I liked it. though I did kind of found it funny when some kid goes on about how it is apparently racist that Electro was played by Jamie Foxx |

| Went and saw Spider-Man this evening. Really not sure what my opinion is of this film. The portrayal of Spider-Man (and Peter) as a character was spot on. The effects were great, the action was great. Emma Stone, as Gwen, was as perfect as ever. The effects were spot on. But as an overall film... it was lacking. I don't know. I'll watch it again and get back to you. One thing though; don't go to the cinema after you've already started drinking. I went for two pisses. In a Spider-Man film! I'm never drinking again! - Spoiler:
Oh. And Electro was a blatant rip off of Dr Manhattan. And the Rhino was wasted. And I've heard of ending on a cliffhanger, but this ended half way through a film! And that post credits scene... are Fox and Sony teaming up to take on Marvel? That's hilarious that two marvel franchises are a bit threat than dc. Plus... Spider-Man v X-Men would be amazing.

The Electro stuff was pretty cheesy but Spider-Man and everything physical looked real. Maybe it won't look as good sober. |
