| Bautista impressed me in Guardians Of The Galaxy, so I'm happy to see him Bond-ing. It's always a pleasure to see Monica Bellucci in films, too. |

| Double post, but with good cause, I'd like to think: saw Paddington on Saturday. It's a surprisingly good film, true to the essence of the character, and also pretty funny. Oddly recommended. |

| Last year we did a little run down of best films we saw that year, I've just looked back at what I've seen on the big screen in 2014 & what came out on DVD this year, other mediums as well but you get my point it came out in 2014.
Looking there's a few films I've still not seen that I would like to most noticeable for me is Under the Skin and hopefully will see before the year is out in the third Hobbit film.
But in till here's my Top 19 films of 2014.
1. Her 2. American Hustle 3. Gravity 4. Guardians of the Galaxy 5. X-Men: Days of Future Past 6. Captain America: The Winter Soldier 7. The Lego Movie 9. Under the Skin 10. The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies 11. Godzilla 12. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire 13. Thor: The Dark World 14. Sin City 2 15. 300 Rise of An Empire 16. Transformers: Age of Extinction 17. RoboCop 18. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa 19. I, Frankenstein

| Double Post
I picked up yesterday Under the Skin as I've heard nothing but good stuff about it and it has Scarlett Johansson in it, what a strange film that was help funded by the lottery & filmed in Scotland. It does seem weird and great that such a indie film has such a big name as it's lead.
The film is kinda like species but more indie is the best way to put as it's not about the horror it's more about the emotions this women goes through and everything like the nude scenes are all filmed tastefully.
I think it's worth a watch even the once but do pay attention as there isn't much dialogue during the film.
Not to triple post a quick update, I've seen the 3rd Hobbit which was good and makes me think has anything had 6 great films in the same arc.
As EP1&2 are crap so you can scratch off star wars for a start.

| Watched Lucy last night it was okay, but I've got some thoughts on Scarlett is she starting to be typed cast as she got more mainstream since avengers which she plays more action chick then lucy and now shes going to be in ghost in the shell which will be action chick again.
Which is a little bit of a shame as she is a great actress. |

| I'm sure she's doing the big things so she can afford to do the odd 'smaller' film, like Don Jon. Otherwise, as you rightly suggest, it'd be a huge shame.
Would you recommend Lucy, mas? I enjoy the acting of both Scarlett and Morgan Freeman... |

| Shame to hear about Wish I Was Here. I really liked Garden State, so I assumed Zach Braff had some modicum of directorial talent. |

| I saw Ouija last night. It tied the story up, but then ended on a cliffhanger that undid the story's conclusion. Aware of a sequel as I was, I checked the details out to be informed that it in no way follows the story of the first film. |

It may be last on the list, but it was still a good film. |

| Just got in from watching The Imitation Game, the Alan Turing film starring Ben Cumberbatch. DIGRESSION ALERT: His full name is too many letters for me to remember properly. Great stuff - very harrowing, very Hollywood-ised and even slightly mathematical. |

| This looks like it's gonna be a really good year for films about robots. Obviously there's a new Terminator, avengers has Ultron, there's CHAPPIE, the new scifi actioner from Neil Blomkampf and there's the one out at the minute with the ginger lad that's out now and looks really good but I've forgotten the name. |

| Still don't know who that is drunka as I have no idea what those things are.
So watched Kingsmen yesterday, if you liked Kick-Ass you might like it also it's all very British Bruv.
Also Samuel L Jackson is pretty good in it. |
