| Absolutely despise his band. I had the misfortune to see them live at a festival - just self-indulgent shite. Not a fan - I like his acting though, so I reckon he'll do the Joker justice. |

| Chiming in on the New Joker image: I can buy that there's an alternate universe Joker somewhere that's covered himself in the laughter tattoos. That's actually a great idea. Like Jay, though, I have trouble with the 'DAMAGED' tat. That seems more like a cry for help than the kind of unsettling-messing-with-you the Joker normally does.

| It's a bit too "obvious" for my tastes. They didn't need to literally spell out his characteristics. |

I recommend Catch Me If You Can, Django Unchained and The Wolf of Wall Street. All three of those films have great DiCaprio performances. I have actually sen most of Leo's work, but I generally like the movie despite him. The only ones I can honestly say I liked him in the part he played was What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Romeo & Juliet. |

| Saw Avengers: Age Of Ultron last night! Good stuff, it was - a fair amount of action and a lot of Joss Whedon-ishness. Not sure what Jo thought of it all - it is very much a movie for people that are invested in the MCU, and she only digs Thor.
I'm a Captain America man, personally. |

| I've been catching up on the MCU before I see Avengers 2 - still need to see Cap 2. Guardians of the Galaxy was fantastic, Thor 2 was pretty good too! |

| I loved that - the tone of the film was on point. It didn't feel like a typical Marvel film, and it was an easy watch because of that. The soundtrack too, top notch. |

| I still need to see Thor 2 and The Winter Soldier before I can watch Age of Ultron. Then again I did watch the first Avengers film before seeing the first Thor and Cap films... Guardians is the best from what I've seen. Looking forward to Ant-Man too. - oldschool wrote:

I can think of 2 other reasons worth watching it for, nahmsayin |

I can think of 2 other reasons worth watching it for, nahmsayin Obviously the harrowing depiction of the loss of life during the boat's demise and the look into class distinction during the ship's maiden voyage, right? |

| I watched it in 3D my poor eyes.
Anyway watched Birdman today, different to what I was expecting from trailers but still excellent film. |

| Yeah, the trailers are purposefully vague, and I can appreciate that. A trailer, to me at least, should get you intrigued about a film rather than divulging half its plot. The new Terminator film reveals a bloody massive plot point in its trailer. Hate that. |

| It is but from the trailers showed more of him and the Birdman not about the play.
Yeah the new Terminator one is pretty awful, but I now kinda want to see how and why but seems like hybrids will win the day. |

| You know what's even more annoying than trailers spoiling movies? Deliberately avoiding trailers so a movie won't be spoiled then having half the Internet give you the spoiler anyway in headlines about how annoying the spoiler is. |

| Watched Frank (the 2014 comedy-drama) last night. You'd think that with that title and poster it would be about the legend that is Frank Sidebottom, but it's (sadly) not. it's a fairly morbid tale about how people with an inflectious personality such as the character Frank's can have such a positive/negative impact and influence on others. I just wanted something daft. It's an all right film, but not really the film I wanted to see. |

| Yesterday I saw Working Girl (very 80's, but great for the Kevin Bacon game), The Fault In Our Stars (very sad) and Pitch Perfect 2 (very funny but not as good as the original, which I recommend thoroughly). |

| I'll be off to see Mad Max fury road the morra, I re-watched the original the other night and while I enjoyed it I have to say it's aged a fair bit in certain places but it still manages to shock you where it needs to even though it's never in your face with it. - masofdas wrote:

| The first Mad Max is a bleak, haunting masterpiece. The second one is a solid, well made blockbuster. You could look at them as a bit like Alien and Aliens, I suppose. The third one is the silly kiddy one. |
