| An old Zelda shifting consoles has gotta be a good sign for when there's actually some new games. |

Hear hear! Hopefully the coming of Mario Kart 8 will have the same effect as Mario Kart 7. And who knows? Mario Kart 8 might actually manage to be good. |

| I think NoE have really gone to town on the upcoming Wii U bundles. I think they'll give the Wii U a shot in the arm - there's some stonking bargains to be had for the prospective buyer. A few days ago, I saw ShopTo were selling a Premium with Nintendo Land, Wind Waker, Lego City Undercover, Rayman Legends and Pikmin 3 for £340. That's mental. That's also not going to pay for a PS4 on it's puff. Factor in the cost of adding in the two NSMBU games and even ZombiU and you're still short of a XBOne with no online subscriptions and no games. And that's just today - who knows what other bargains might crop up in the next couple of months.
I don't think people are going to ignore that sort of value for long.

| Yeah I said somewhere else on here, the Wii U is the best console to buy this holiday season it's just if Nintendo promotes the console properly. Also checkout IGN theirs lot of videos on there from NYCC of mario 3D world, the olympics and a few others. |

| As I said in last week's Admintendo, I also believe Wii U is the best Christmas home console purchase this year. I say home console, because clearly the best-best purchase is the 3DS. Or the 2DS if you've got tiny sprogs. |

It was a one-day deal through Play.com/ShopTo. |

| I'll take a HD remake of the original for a tenner download, a remake of Dark Moon can shove it though, would be a huge waste of resources. |

| It really will be sad to see Nintendo go down the HD remake route especially if its going to be with games that haven't been out that long. |

| There's a whole host of Cube games I'll happily take as HD remakes but nothing after that point, it really just seems like a way to make a quick buck and a very bad way to go about it as well, can't imagine many people being interested in paying for this. |

| Metroid Prime Trilogy HD with dual analogue controls (Wii Remote still an option) as well as the option to use the GamePad's pointer and tocuscreen as a scanner without needing to use the scan visor or pause the game while reading, would be amazing. |

| I can't remember if I already said this but the original Luigi's mansion wouldn't be bad on the Wii U |

| There's a few HD remakes I would buy from the cube era, but I sooner they put them out like they are now on the VC at £10 each then instaed of doing a HD remake and charging us £40 for it.

| Way to undermine the great 3DS experience, Nintendo! I really hope this is just rumour-mongering (still), though I'm going to add my voice to the support for an HD remake of the original. Or, y'know, a VC release of it... |

| Seeing as we're on about HD remakes (even though I dislike them) I can't help but think Nintendo are missing a trick by not making some DS games in HD & the release them at cheap prices on e shop. |

| So, the original Wii has been discontinued in Japan after some 100 million sales.
Part of me thinks its a bit premature. The Wii should just be pure profit at this point. I guess Nintendo saw the 100m and thought "good time to quit". |

Depends what else they're expecting to manufacture- if using the production line for 2DS makes more money, they'd be silly not using it. Besides, it's not like you can buy games for it new. |

| Umm if you checkout my release threads you see there's 14 Wii games in October/November , and skylanders swap force which just came out sold best on the wii. Remember Nintendo get's money still from each of these games published on the Wii.
But IGN have reviewed Deus Ex on Wii U and it's the best version of the game, shame I played it two years ago but for someone like Balla get on this. |

And stores will stock none of it, bar maybe Skylanders as part of a Skylanders display. Meanwhile you won't find either Mario Galaxy on the shelves outside of the second hand section- while you will find Red Dead Redemption new on PS360 despite coming out the same year as MG2. For that reason here's no real incentive on Nintendo's part to keep making the hardware. |

| We have in work (ASDA), Disney Infinty, FIFA 14, Skylanders swap force, Just Dance 2014 all newish titles with a few others like Mario Kart in ia top 10 and some older cheaper ones.
Remember ASDA doesn't stock Wii U anymore (we do have Just Dance in for some reason), but wii still as like I said skylanders sale's on the wii still were going to give it space.
I can see more "CORE" gaming places only stocking likes of skylanders like you said but the casual's whom might pop into us or another supermarket could be tempted to pick up one of these games.

| Do you like remakes,
A new rumor making the rounds on the internet is touting the idea that Nintendo will be making a “ReUmagined” series in which the company gives seven Nintendo 64 games “the Wind Waker HD treatment,” remaking them in HD to be sold on the Wii U eShop. Supposedly, Super Mario 64 would be the first title, followed by six others, and all seven games would feature new content and retail at $30. The idea is that Nintendo would be filling gaps in their Wii U lineup of games by re-releasing the old N64 classics.
Some of the details on the hypothetical Mario 64 remake include a two-player mode in which both Mario and Luigi can be controlled simultaneously, with one camera following Mario on the main screen, and the other following Luigi on the gamepad. Does this all sound too good to be true? If the ReUmagined series turned out to be real, which N64 games would you want to see remade into Wii U titles? Let us know in the comments!
This info come from Nintendo Life.
It sounds good but surely it would take longer to turn a N64 game into HD then a GameCube, so not really filling the gap as it was put, I wouldn't mind this if they did it with Mario Sunshine etc. |

| It's almost like they have forgotten about the Gamecube, or they aren't listening as I think people want Cube stuff more then N64 these days, don't get me wrong the 64 stuff would be just as brilliant but that's what the 3DS is seemingly for.. |
