| Has anyone given this a shot? It's Sky Sports' England Squad Selector. Here's who I'm taking...
http://www1.skysports.com/FIFA-World-Cup-2014/england/squad-selector/6e2557665b11e46eb26b58d260d193bb3c91a945
EDIT: That's not in any order, but as far as goalies go it's definitely Hart - Forster - Ruddy. |

| I had a go at that squad selector... I had trouble picking 23! That's not to be too negative, but there are a few people that are inconsistent. If anyone cares:
Hart - Ruddy - Foster
Baines - Cahill - Jagielka - G. Johnson - Jones - Lescott - Shaw - Walker
Barkley - Gerrard - A. Johnson - Lallana - Lampard - Oxlade-Chamberlain - Sterling - Townsend
Lambert - Rooney - Sturridge - Welbeck
I don't watch the Premier League week in week out, so... who the f*** is D. Ings?
And I think I'd pick as my starting 11: Hart Walker - Cahill - Jagielka - Baines Barkley - Lampard Townsend - Rooney - Lallana Sturridge
As well as all that... how do they get whiny footballers to do these Nike adverts come World Cup Time? You can't deny that this is a work of epicness. |

| Ings plays for Burnley who are second in the championship, and are going up to the premier I guess he's had a great season, also no Forster (Celtic) you mad.
Also Stevie G is England captain, so your starting line up doesn't work |

Would definitely take him too, England are in the rare position of having two top quality goalkeepers for once. Here's my sqaud http://www1.skysports.com/FIFA-World-Cup-2014/england/squad-selector/abce7d00a06e6a616313efdfe1bb525a4f3944f1 Picking defenders is definitely a tough job, there were a few I really didn't want to pick. |

Also Stevie G is England captain, so your starting line up doesn't work I don't want to upset the many friends who are from the North of Hadrian's wall here, but... with the current scale of ability the Scottish football league appears to be in, I don't know if playing for Celtic is any kind of accurate measurement; they're so much better than any of their opposition, I could probably play in goal. Having said that I nearly picked him ahead of Foster (but I do have a soft spot for him, due to his 2-year loan at Watford). As for Gerrard... well... it's my pick . I think Carles Puyol is technically Barcelona captain still. Gerrard has been working wonders for Liverpool, but his recent form for England is not as wonderful. He sometimes becomes anonymous; admittedly there are segments of matches where he bursts into life, and we get back the man who scored that goal in Munich in 2001. Either or with him or Lampard really. Also... if you watch Gerrard play for England... about 1 in every 3 passes he receives, his first touch flicks the ball in the air for no discernable reason. Wow, this is the most I've written on the forum for a long time, and it's not even about Twilight Princess. |

| He's played in the champions league, and done well hence why he's been called up before.
Agree on Stevie Get but he will be in the 11. |

| Im fairly sure Forster was in net for Celtic when they beat Barcelona. I think playing Rooney in midfield like Jimbob has done is a good idea, he can win the ball way up the pitch. I still think for England it has to be Carrol or Lambert as a sole striker though unless the striker has exceptional skill like Suarez. Which unfortunately Sturrige and Welbeck lack. |

Yeah agree Club Football over National but world cup will be it after the champions league final in till next season. Unless we all start watching more of the women's game. |

| We did indeed win it ages ago but SPFL pretty much don't allow trophy presentations at away stadiums (not to mention we clinched it in a derby game vs Partick) so we had to wait until our last home game of the season.
Even though we knew ages ago I was still buzzing yesterday. (Helped that the final match was a good one as well.
Don't think Sami has a team lined up but his contract is done in the next few months. |

| Four more then needed, the plan is if we get 8 everyone will get four teams two from section 1 A-D and two from section 2 E-H.
So someone could end up with Brazil, Spain, Argentina and Germany or Greece, Costa Rica, Honduras and Iran. |
