To be fair about the sales the extremely poor performance of the Wii u is starting to make me worry if Nintendo will actually bring X over now.

Don't say that.  Mind you, NoE do seem to be fairly good at the moment at getting some of the odder titles over. And the number of times it's been displayed semi-prominently displayed in NDs... I don't think it'll happen.

Mario 3D World finally tops Knack in the chart.

Pre-Christmas Nintendo Direct, anyone? Apparently focusing on games to release by spring 2014. So, MK8, then.

Can't wait and I'm of tomorrow, also might have some peoples predictions in.

Has SMASH got a spring release like those rumors a week or two ago.

I really can't see it. It would be big for Nintendo, having MK8 and SSB4 in such a short space of time, but we'd had so much more data leaked prior to Brawl. Now, we don't even know many of the characters, let alone stages or extra modes. What will 4 introduce for single players to compensate for the loss of the SSE? Will event matches make a return? Will the Target Test be good again? You'd expect to know at least the first one well ahead of launch.

I don't know we will have to wait and see but this direct is suppose to be spring 2014 releases and the Miiverse post hints at smash will be shown.

Could we see Mario Kart 8 in march then SMASH in June, It could happen like Mario Kart 7 Nov 2011, Super Mario 3D Land Dec 2011 and those two basically saved the 3DS in many peoples eyes. Could Nintendo do the same again but those two were released in holiday season not June, so bit unsure if they would save the Wii U.

Also they might just be keeping a lot secret for today or let us find out for ourselves when we play the game not like with SM3DW.

To my mind, now would be a good time to confirm one or two totally new Smash Bros. characters. As has been mentioned many times, though, Nintendo are totally unpredictable.

Zelda Hyrule Warriors, I wonder if that will be art style of Zelda U.

Sodding stream won't work at work.  Not too fussed about a Zelda-like Dynasty Warriors game, though.  It ain't no real Zelda.

Nintendo seem to actually have things to announce for once.

I will post a update after will all the news like NES Remix.

More Wii U big game stuff would be nice.  Dr. Luigi's great and all, but it gives me more Chills than Fever.

Jings, that was a great Nintendo Direct. Can't wait to hit the eShop later on for those freebies and for the NES Remix. There was just so much to like about that presentation - I'm really upbeat about what's on the way. It all looked excellent.

Overall I can't say that direct did much for me besides the very beginning and ending. I'd go on but I'm not really in the mood for being extremely negative so I'll leave it at that.

Really intrigued by that - I welcome something totally new for Zelda with open arms.

So this is what went down,

Hyrule Warriors (name not final) which is Zelda x Warriors series from Tecmo coming 2014. The warriors series normally have lot's of playable characters but Zelda just has Link, makes wonder if we getting to play as Zelda maybe.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe, gets a general 2014 release with Kirby Fighters & Dedede's Drum Dash modes shown. I will pick this up but more excited for another platformer.

Yoshi's New Island which will arrive in the Spring and is being worked on by Takashi Tezuka . Here's the platformer I'm excited for.

Pokemon Bank will be out on 27th December, free pass for 30 days, £4.49 for a year's access. Free rare Celebi up to September 30th 2014. I will be paying for the year acces as at £4.49 it's quite cheap and means I can sell X and just wait to Z comes out.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze arrives 21st February in Europe. Not really bothered about this unless there's nothing else of note coming out around this time.

Sonic Lost World Wii U DLC - Yoshi's Island Zone FREE to download from today also Nintendo said more Nintendo themed levels coming are showed a picture that hinted at one. The picture has a Triforce in it which would gather confirms Zelda based level. I kinda want Sonic lost World now.

Wii Sports Club: Golf out today with free 24hr trial which includes the other two sports as-well. Anyone want to play bowling.

NES Remix available in Europe today for £8.99,  features selected scenes from NES classics, 16 in total with new twists and challenges for each moment - Remix stages NES stages have less changes but still new challenges. Miiverse compatbility allows score posting. I'm not sure what to think of this more NES games and at £9 seems a little pricy but have got my free fiver and playing as Link in Donkey Kong might be a laugh.

Dr. Luigi hits on 15th January for £13.49. What can I say it's Dr Mario with Luigi instead, price again seems steep for what it is.

Luigi's Mansion 2 diorama coming to Club Nintendo today, can't seem to log in to see if it's up and how many points.

Wii Karaoke U, new songs on the way.

Nintendo Network Promotion announced for 3DS, free download of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe if you make a NNID or link your Wii U NNID between Dec 10th & Jan 31t, codes of SMBD will be sent out on the 13th-28th of Feb. Yay free stuff

Super Mario Bros. 3 hits VC in 3DS and Wii U on 26th December, with launch week price offer of £3.79 3DS in till Jan 2nd then £4.49, Wii U £2.79 then £3.49 after the 2nd. Not bad prices but do I need this game for what would seem the 100th time.

Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright Arrives in Europe on 28th March, This seems intriguing I like what I've played of Dual Destines and the setting of this with the Witches and that seems appealing but not sure about the Puzzle Layton parts that I might struggle on.  

Rosalina and Luma Confirmed For Super Smash Bros with a weird Mario Kart 8 mixed with Smash trailer for a second I thought Kirby was going to be in Mario kart 8.

Mario Kart 8 scheduled for release in Spring, some new footage it looks good.

and that was pretty much it apart from there getting Dr Luigi sooner also Bravely Default demo was announced for them which I would gather is the same as the one on EU eShop but I read somewhere that the mission in the Demo isn't in the main game, is that true.

NES remix seems to have a lot of content for £9 as there's over 200 stages & the time I've spent with it shows its quite challenging too. (I've made a thread for it over in the wii U section)

I only just got round to watching the EU direct; I accidentally watched the American one earlier. How weird that they didn't show Chibi Robo in our one and didn't show Layton V Wright in the American one...

Yeah, Reggie said the demo is a side story not included in the main game and that it transfers across to your save file. Is that the same in Europe? I've had the demo sat unplayed on my 3DS since it came out.
