PS3 isn't last gen is current, PS4 is next gen.

I'm in two minds about the Persona news.  One of them is elated at a new Persona finally being on the way, the other half of me is a very angry person who knows it will be years upon years until I ever even get a chance to play it because Atlus seems to love not bothering to release games promptly here forcing other publishers to handle it.  

I can say that the two when combined are turning in to a passionate rage towards Atlus, that much I can say very easily.  The real issue is that they insist on even bothering with their big games in our region, then take over half a year to release them.  If you have no intention of actually doing it then for fucks sake let someone like nis America handle it Atlus!  Stop clogging and wasting time, because one way or another I am frankly sick to death of it and ready to just say go to hell and never look back.  I want to be a fan, but you make it almost impossible when every time you announce something I am left asking how many years until after the game has been release in America will it be until I and every other gamer in europe and australia get a chance to buy it.  

Put short I am right now very angry over it, cool new Persona games, and when will we get them?  Twenty years time?  At least xSeed Games has the excuse that they are an incredibly small company of about a dozen strong, and they don't actively stop people from buying their games unlike Atlus do with their region locking.  After the Persona 4 Arena debacle I honestly have zero faith or love for Atlus. For crying out loud we still don't even have Shin Megami Tensei 4!

The PS4 will have been out for year when Persona 5 releases, hence the PS3 will be old tech.

UK Xbox One sales were twice as strong as Xbox 360's in the console's launch week, according to retail monitor Chart-Track.

Chart-Track said on Monday that Microsoft's new system accounted for 80 per cent of consoles sold in the UK in the seven days ended November 23.

I love Twitch - I've got a group of streamers I watch regularly do speedruns or just shoot the shit, but with the Big Boxes of Power having Twitch integration it seems stricter moderation will be needed from the folks at Twitch.

Steam have launched their own reviews system. It pretty much alleviates the concerns I had when looking at Metacritic reviews - that nobody had played the game. Your playtime comes up next to your review, so obviously people who've played the game for ten minutes can be disregarded.

New IPs are something I think Nintendo have lacked through the last gen so if this is a sign of changing times then it's all good to me!

That's huge and great news.

Microsoft are giving every body that has problems with the xbox one a free 1st party game. Also I'm hearing there's a CEX in the country with not one but six xbone's and there all broken.

There are now more PS4 owners in the UK than Wii U owners.

There's probably more PS5 owners in the UK than Wii U owners. I know exactly one person outwith of internet forums that has a Wii U, and even then I think she's thinking about punting it for a PS4.

So to continue the PS4 has sold 250k in the UK that's 100k more then the Xbox One and outsells the Wii U already. And makes it the best selling launch in the UK ever.

The Order 1886 will come out fall 2014 for PS4.


Call of Duty: Ghosts returned to No.1 on the UK all formats all prices chart during the week ended November 30.

Retail monitor Chart Track said Activision's shooter sold just 6,000 units more than FIFA 14 to reclaim the top spot from the football title.

Battlefield 4 was a non-mover at No.3, while Killzone: Shadow Fall was the top selling PS4 exclusive at No.4.

Assassin's Creed 4 came in at No.5 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes held firm at No.6, one spot ahead of GTA 5, the only game in the top ten not available on PS4.

The week's other new top 40 entries were PS4 launch game Knack at No.13, Wii U exclusive Super Mario 3D World at No.14, and Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition at No.38.

I had a mess about with my brother's PS4 before too and the sad thing is it's so soulless compared to Wii U, it really deserves much better, Nintendo really need to realise who Wii U is for because they definitely don't have a clue.

So after few days or weeks or even year (sings friends theme tune) have past but as now this is the 8th gen worldwide sells figures

Call of Duty Ghosts has sold 50k Worldwide on Wii U.

So the PS4 is only 2million behind the Wii U and it hasn't been released in Japan yet. There has been more negative articles about the Wii U today but as someone put if it can sell 5m by the end of the financial year and do that for the next 4 (5 year cycle) that's 25m worldwide which isn't many but might be enough for Nintendo a long side the 3DS which is near 40m and isn't even 3 years old yet. A bit like the GBA 81m & GameCube 22m the situation might end up being.
