I think they should have "Nintendo does not speculate..."d, then announced a Wario Wiimote, with the line "They were rumours you made up, not us." |

| Take this with a grain of salt as the source is /v/ and NeoGAF, but it looks like From Software might be putting out a Demon's Souls sequel.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=812089
If it's Demon's Souls 2, then it's likely going to be a PS4 exclusive. In fact, considering Sony are rumoured to be co-developing and publishing, it's not likely - it's basically certain. Reckon this should please Mas, he was clamouring for a DeS sequel! |

| Sony own the IP, so always going to be playstation exclusive. I wasn't that bothered about it, just wanted a soul's game on a console I own. |

It might see a PC release due to the large Souls fanbase on PC, but I'm not holding out for anything considering the original Demon's Souls didn't see a port. |

To be fair, the PC's Souls fanbase only came about after they threw a tantrum over not getting Dark Souls, (and then, as we know, they threw another tantrum because it didn't run at eleventymillion-p-60) so them not getting Demon's doesn't mean much.

To be fair, the port was fucking awful. Like, really bad. Not even just graphically, but in terms of controlling it, in terms of DRM... It says a lot that a modding community solely dedicated to fixing the game sprang up after its PC release. From did a much better job with DSII. And Balla, actual legitimate reason to the Souls chat this time! |

| There is no legitimate reason for Souls chat, ever! Nah, fair enough. Can't complain. But if I understand y'all correctly, the Demon Souls franchise is PS-exclusive, but Dark Souls is multiformat; but aren't they both part of the same franchise anyway? |

| Demon Souls was the first and Sony owns the IP/name, so to make another which can also come to another system you have to register a new IP which FromSoftware did, which was Dark Souls. |

Correct - but Mas sums up why Demon's Souls likely won't ever leave Sony platforms. Demon's Souls 2 (if that's what the game above actually is) will likely see a massive sales spike on the back of the success of Dark Souls and Dark Souls II, so it makes sense for Sony to finally utilise their IP again. |

| The new COD is being developed by sledgehammer but only for the ONE, PS4 & PC version (I think) with High Noon handling a port of it for PS3, 360 and most likely the Wii U version as well.
This is interesting as High Noon whom are known for the Transformers games in the last few years which includes the two fairly decent war & fall of cybertron with a sequel to those coming in Rise of the Dark Spark which is out next month but Edge of Reality are handling it this time. Whom are known for port's then actually making there own games, so this could be so-so. The 3DS version is being done by Wayforward.

| Yeah could be, Wayforward are decent enough studio that the 3DS version could likely be the best even. |

| Nintendo's Webstore now has a Cool Stuff section. They're selling the expensive F4F Figures directly in the UK. Also available... Mushroom Socks, Zelda T-Shirts, Yoshi Backpacks, Donkey Kong Hats....

| That is brilliant, just managed to total up £69 worth of stuff just for starters, the Nintendo store is definitely starting to come up trumps. |

| Nintendo posted a massive loss this financial year. More than three times last year's profit. That's all I'm saying. I'm not even linking to any articles. Just warning y'all, because I get the feeling that the Nintendo Hate Brigade is going to be out in full force on the Internet today. |

| Yeah it's not looking good, I tweeted about how it makes the dreamcast number look amazing.
MCV writer Ben Parfitt has tweeted that the Wii U is now the same age as the Dreamcast when it was discontinued by Sega. The Wii U has actually sold around half the number Dreamcast had by this point. The Sega Dreamcast completed its global roll-out by November 1999 and then was ultimately discontinued in March 2001.
“DreamCast completed it’s global roll-out by November 1999 and was discontinued in March 2001. Technically it was released a year earlier than that in Japan, but even when you remove Japanese DreamCast sales altogether (2.8m out of 10.6m) Wii U sales still lower.”
So as of now the DC would of sold 7.8m just in EU & NA in the same time the Wii U has took to sell 6.1m the up to date figures (so the above is a little of) worldwide.
Or the PS4 has sold that amount in 6 month's. |

| Yep, that sure was all the depressing news I specifically left out of my post all right! With of course the Masofdasian spin of comparing it to the Dreamcast again. |

| Can't help compare it as it's in a very similar situation to be much loved for it's quality exclusives and have a loyal fanbase but ultimately be left miles behind the competition. |
