A Civil War movie would be awesome but I can't help but feel that there wouldn't be enough characters to make it truly spectacular. Also, unless they built it up within other films, they might struggle to do it justice.

Like I said earlier, civil war worked because it was spread over all of marvels books and built on fifty years of history. Reading the graphic novel, without the other peripheral books, it doesn't feel as impressive so there's no way they'll do it justice in one film.

Marvel need to get the Fantastic Four back desperately. And it's good that Sony is willing to share Spidey

| Well Cap 3 is in 2016 which starts the build up fro the Civil War.
But we do have Ant-Man before that in 2015 along with Avengers 2 which both might hint at something.
Dr Strange is meant to be 2016 2017 Two Unannounced Marvel Films 2017 Guardians of the Galaxy 2 2018 Avengers 3 and two other unannounced marvel films but they could come out before or after Avengers 3 I'm not sure.
So there is some films coming that could all be used to build avengers 3.
Ohh and it seems fitting with Drunkas Robot piece that it went up when Terminator turned 30. |

One will be the Doc Strange movie once they find the person to play him. Black panther is rumoured to be one of the untitled movies at some stage and depending on how they go with Civil War the other unknown movies I'd like to think may be other people who are involved

Is splitting Avengers 3 into two films a trick to drag out the actors' contracts, I wonder?

It's probably a bit of both, I think the bigger issue is will we all be burnt out on superhero/comic book films with there being so many in such a short space of time?

I don't think I will personally be burnt out but it'll be interesting to see if the average joe does though. I think Guardians success is definitely an optimistic sign though.

Good point and that might be a good sign for the other lesser known ones like Marvel, Inhumans & black panther.

Also what will help is Black Panther will be appearing in Cap 3, so joe public will know him from that and same with captain marvel she could be introduced in GOTG2.

I'll watch and enjoy them all. I would be getting burned out on superhero films but so far Marvel have done a good job if making every film feel completely different. Apart from IM2 and Thor 2, maybe.

You'll no doubt have heard that Toy Story 4 is a goer, confirmed for a June 2017 release. I've seen a lot of folk going radge on Twitter, with stuff like 'waaaah, it had the perfect ending!' and 'waaah, nobody wants a Toy Story 4'. Fuck up. I think this is brilliant. Several of my mates have had children since 2010 - I love that they'll be growing up with Toy Story much like I did in 1995. If they can have the joy I had nineteen years ago, then I'm all for a new Toy Story.

Too right. Pixar are well aware that they can't mess up Toy Story 4; it may well be the best one yet, for all we know. Get to it, magic movie makers!

I'm in the middle of this one, it'll be good on account of Pixars worst film being Cars 2 (which I don't mind even though it's clearly the worst) but Toy Story 3 is gonna be massive to live up to. I worry that this is a sequel too far. Are there any good 4th films?

Transformers 4 Harry Potter 4 was a good one. Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol was alright. Rambo The Hobbit I also have to agree with Cappa. Toy Story is a family series and if a fourth film brings joy to children, more power to them!

I'd like to see TS4 starring a bunch of completely new toys myself. I really do think that Woody et al.'s story is and should be done, but that's not to say that Pixar can't bring more Toy Story happiness to the sproglings of today.

Harry Potter 4 was more of a turning point to me as opposed to a good film. It just felt good compared the the amateur stuff of the first 3. I thought of Hobbit but I didn't think it was a 4th film as such. Can't comment on the rest other than not hearing great things about Transformers 4.

Last night Jo and I went to see Mockingjay Part 1. Although it's based off my least favourite of the three books, it was as brilliantly made as the previous two films. Very intense.
