| I went to the pictures yesterday to see the new Mission impossible, while it was OK it felt rushed towards the last half & didn't top the previous film. |

| I seen a film called Spike Island the other night on sky movies, it's about 5 young guys from Manchester who come up with a plan to hand-deliver their bands demo tape to The Stone Roses at the Spike Island gig itself.
It's was pretty damn good and I definitely recommend you's seek it out. |

| I liked the news that it's basically going to be an original story, besides drawing a little from the bleeding effect storyline in the first few Assassin's Creed games. Fassbender looks the part too - I'm optimistic. |

Yes, love that! That's why Halo: Forward Unto Dawn worked better than most game films and why a Mass Effect film is bound to be shit; game stories work in games and film stories work in films. |

| I know it's weird as why I like Journey is such a hipster reason as well and I didn't like The Last of Us when it wasn't cool to not like it which it is now. I don't dress like one though, well I don't think I do, but I do like a Manic Pixie Dream Girl such as Zooey Deschanel. |

Also has anyone seen Blue is the Warmest Colour, is it worth watching if you have. From the the ten i've seen the Garden State, 500 Days, Eternal Sunshine, Royal Tenenbaums, Juno and Lost in Translation. Also Brick and Amelie from honourable mentions. Love all those films with the exception of Juno and LiT. Lost in Translation was decent enough but wasn't a big fan. Juno can fuck right off, overrated pile of wank. Not seen BitWC. I want to and think I saw its on Netflix, but I share Netflix with other people and I don't want that showing up on recently watched as they would no doubt assume it was only watched due to the lesbianism aspect of it and make me out as some kind of pervert. When that's only partly why I want to see it. |

Yep, it's an excellent excellent movie. I saw it on a film course I did last year at uni. Although, you'll look like a massive perv if it comes up on Netflix or whatever as folks might assume you're only watching for the 10 minute lesbian sex scene, as DL points out. Also re: that hipster movie list. That's exactly my taste in films there. Garden State, Lost in Translation and 500 Days of Summer are in my top 10. |

| I don't know if it was a hipster list really but more of a indie list sort of thing.
I will have to check out BitWC, I only heard about it last week as the girl from inglorious is in it and will be in gambit.
It's strange isn't it if you watch that or I've seen Black Swan and people called me a perv watching that whilst most of the women at work openly talked about 50 shades of grey. |

| I went to see Straight Outta Compton earlier in the week & it is my favourite film of the year so far, I think you'd still find it enjoyable if you aren't a fan of N.W.A but if you are, like me, you will love it to bits. |

| Saw Legend last night, the film where Tom Hardy plays both the Kray twins. He knocks it out of the park - in a middling, rambling film that should have ended about ten minutes before it did. |

| Said it better than I could, Zero! It was really easy to forget that Tom Hardy was playing both roles, which is a sign he did his job well. The film itself dragged. I enjoyed the first half, but it definitely overstayed its welcome.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Martian soon. |

| I just recently read the Martian, and it should make for a really good film I think. There was a sense of humour running through it which I'm confident Matt Damon will capture. |

That does look pretty good from the trailers I've seen. |
