In other news, TPP have completed Crystal, defeating the altered Red.  Battery Jesus, Red's mainstay, took the place of the level 81 Pikachu.

The final battle was pretty intense. Pidgeot was one turn away from obliterating them.

It was pretty amazing to see someone choose Cut, the only move Feraligatr had that wouldn't KO Pidgeot, and then see it Sky Attack them. So tense.

Charmingly, the TPP UI's been given an overhaul, to reflect the font used in Emerald.

Also they're playing Golden Sun, having played Monkey Ball, Doom and the first episode of the Pokémon anime.

The latest CVG podcast features a bit of SSB4 talk and Chris getting excited about Tomodachi Life, but that's not the reason I think the forum might be interested.  Nope, that'll be because they spend substantial chunks of it mocking Chris for his accent.  29:26 onwards in the Youtube video, for one example.
